As some of you may know, the great jazz pianist/composer Chick Corea recently passed away. I wrote this piece, "Crystal Whispers," as a dedication. The name is a reference to his famous "Crystal Silence." I hope you enjoy this piece.

wow, this absolutely incredible. i just listened to your piece and it’s so calm and soothing. im never really up to date on any musical artists as i just about listen to the same ones every time, ive never heard of him and yet somehow a wave of nostalgia just dawned over me. something about that tune is just really melodic and peaceful. i can’t imagine how long this may have took as im not musically inclined, but i commend you for this, it really is amazing! a job well done for sure, ill be making a mental note of this so i can come back and listen to it again 😊

Thank you! I'm really glad those feelings came through in the composition. I wrote the piece in a few days and recorded it shortly after that! Thanks for taking the time to comment. :)

Ah man, that is a bummer! such a talented artist/musician. I used to listen to the Bela Fleck/Chick Corea album The Enchantment all the time on Saturday and Sunday mornings. It's such a soothing album.

Wonderful album. I love his recordings with Gary Burton as well (I saw them both live, it was amazing).
