Custom Designs in HHD

Excuse me if this question has been done to death. orz

If you use custom designs (QR codes, etc) in a home, and then delete or overwrite the design, will it disappear/change in the home(s) it was used in?

I know that was the case for things like paths in ACNL, but I'm not sure how it works in HHD.
So thanks for any help/answers you can provide. ^ ^

Yes - if you delete or replace a design stored in your pattern section, all instances of that pattern in the homes you've designed will also be erased/changed.

I found that out the hard way. XD

I've had to do the exact same thing, and it was surprising how few of the designs I scanned in at the beginning that I actually used in my first hundred houses.

Hope the process goes okay for you - it can get a bit tedious, but there's nothing worse than overwriting/deleting a design you've used, then freaking out about the mess when you visit that villager's home later. XD
