Hello, my name is Beth. I am an avid ACNL player and have had my game for almost a year now, as evidenced by the title of this post. I wish I would have started a blog when I first began as the mayor of my town, but hey. Better now than never.
I'll begin with the disclaimer that this blog is primarily for my own pleasure, as I will be cataloging my activities in Storrs here on a daily basis. If anyone is interested in my gameplay or what have you and would like to follow this blog, I would be honored.

On April 8th, 2014, I arrived in Storrs. Storrs is my town, named for the small town in Connecticut in which the University of Connecticut is situated. To my disappointment, I have never been there nor have I been anywhere in the state of Connecticut. However, I am a fan of UConn and part of my town is (hopefully) a loose reflection of that.
More accurately, Storrs is a crossover between the University of Connecticut and Alice in Wonderland, with semi-themed homes and scenery. It's a very random combination, I know, but it seems to work just fine for me and my villagers. x)
So, I guess I'll feature a little section of my town every day along with any noteworthy improvements and happenings. If anyone happens to read this, I'd appreciate some feedback!
