The new Bell Boom ordinance goes in effect today. I don't quite remember if this was really effective or not, since it's been a long time since I used any other ordinance besides the beautiful one. Should be a nice change from the monotonous routine I had found myself in over the winter. BRING ON THE WEEDS.
Gulliver also washed up again. He said he was going to the Taj Mahal, so that's obviously India. Now I can get another souvenir for my Gulliver-themed display room in the museum. It's getting pretty full, so I imagine I almost have all of his items. That should make a nice feature for the blog whenever I get it done.
Mitzi is out and about today, and to thank me for helping her get better she gave me her picture. This will be put in a very prestigious spot in my home. And speaking of my home, I can feature a little bit of it today.

So, this is the outside. I tried the brick exterior recently to see how it looked, but I don't like it as much as I did the fancy exterior. And now I can't seem to get it back. I'm also waiting to find a new door that matches better. Though everything else I believe is permanently to my liking.
Now, my house isn't limited to one strict theme like my alternates'. I like the freedom to interchange different furniture sets that I like, along with my collectibles and knick-knacks.

This is my main room. Since the Rococo set is one of my favorites, I've collected it all (except for the bookcase, still need that) here and developed a sort of Victorian-esque Wonderland theme. I absolutely love the chess pieces and when I found out they could be refurbished in gold well that settled it. Took me forever to round them all up, too. The King and the Knight in particular gave me the hardest times, but I believe Lolly gave me the King and I found a Knight in one of my friends' towns and eventually they all came together. Then Sahara hooked me up with the Chessboard Floor and I couldn't have been happier. x)

This is the back of my room, and my favorite pieces are probably the pictures on the wall. I found the designs on a Tumblr QR page and I knew I had to use them. Alice's dress was just perfect too. ^^ Then I figured the Grape Stripe Shirt was appropriate for the Cheshire Cat and it balanced out the other side.
I'm not sure my main room will stay like this forever, since I feel like it's kind of cramped and something sort of feels off. I'll probably try to rearrange it several more times before I find a comfortable combination, but I'm happy with it for now.
