Good afternoon, everyone. 'Twas a rather laid-back day in Storrs. Buck dropped by before I even had a chance to change my clothes. All he got for that was the riveting sight of me rummaging through my closet for an outfit to wear. :p But I'm always happy to let Buck in for a rest midway through his daily jog. He gave me a Birch Flooring for my troubles and saw himself out. Then, back in privacy, I could change into my Blue Diamond Shirt. I kept my jeans and shoes on from yesterday, so that was easy.

I walked out of my house to a brisk sunny day and checked my mail. I had a letter from Felicity thanking me for digging up her time capsule yesterday, with a gift enclosed. I almost panicked a little when I took the capsule to her yesterday, since I knew my pockets were full and had forgotten to drop something before I talked to her. But, to my relief, she said she would just mail her gift to me. I also had a letter from Lolly, saying that she had a dream about me really wanting something so badly that I cried, and so she just had to send it to me. It was something I did not want, and therefore I can't even remember what it was now.

After reading my letters, I looked up to see Whitney walking around in front of our houses. I'm glad she's all better. <3 I spoke to her and she thanked me for helping her to get better. She didn't give me her picture, unfortunately. I guess I'm going to have to work a little harder for that.

Patty is all packed up and ready to moove today. Yes, she is a cow and yes, I'm going to MILK that joke. > If anyone would like to come over and get her, just leave me a message! c: <
I won't miss her much, but she was always sweet, despite the fact that I rarely ever spoke to her. Honestly, I'll miss her house the most. It's in a lovely spot, and I did such an awesome job with the landscaping around it. But oh well. It should still look nice even without her house being there.

Doing my shopping today, I scored several more items that weren't in my catalog. Besides that, there wasn't much of interest for sale today. Redd was in town, though. I bought a Mystic Statue from him, since I didn't immediately recall having seen one before and that meant I definitely don't have it in my museum. Not sure if it's real or not, but I'm just going to assume it isn't. I guess we'll find out tomorrow.

Now for a Roost update. For the fourth day in a row, Lolly was my first customer. Mocha, little milk, one sugar. I've got her down.
Wart Jr. was second, and I remembered having served him before so I checked back to what I gave him then. This time, I figured I'd try Blue Mountain coffee with a regular amount of milk and two sugars. He said it was perfect! Now that's three of my friends I can serve their 'usuals' to every time they ask.
Whitney was next, and I thought she seemed like a mocha girl. Sure enough, though that was the only thing she told me I got right. I guess a lot of milk and three sugars was a bit much for her.
Kapp'n returned today as well, and I remembered that he doesn't like any sugar in his cup. I guessed at blend coffee and a little milk this time, neither of which he seemed to like. Ah well, I'll get him next time.

I have discovered that designs on the town flag and various pwps will stay if you put them on display at the Abel Sisters' and then replace it in your pockets. Incredibly convenient. Now I can vicariously hold up to ten more designs without having to create another character! So I hung up my Husky designs forthwith and took one of Shyloh's path pieces upon myself, to free a spot for her. I intend to give her a design or two for the trophy room.

And speaking of Shyloh's, here's a look at another room in the development center. :)

In the right wing is the nurse's room, if it can be called that. I felt like there should be a room for injured players to go, instead of just the locker room. It all started with the Medicine Chest, that I got from somewhere I don't remember. Someone probably gave it to me in exchange for a favor. I wanted a bed that looked like a cot, but not with a straight up hospital feel so I decided on the Minimalist Bed instead of the Hospital Bed. I did end up including an IV Drip, just because I felt like I needed at least one straight-up hospital item to really get the point across.
I went with the Vision Tester and Scale, because that's obvious. I ordered the Minimalist Minitable because I thought it would look good beside the bed with a Box of Tissues on top, but it ended up being slightly taller than the bed itself and just looked weird.

I found someone who had a Cinder-block Wall for sale in their town and went over to snag it for my Nook's Homes. It's almost just like the Concrete Fence, and I actually like it even more. So I can purchase that for Shyloh's house today and the exterior will be all finished. Also going to work on finishing off the trophy and weight rooms. I'll see y'all tomorrow with a shot of the next room. ;D

Seeing Patty go will be an udderly good time, I'm sure. ;)

Glad Whitney is better and that you were able to get your gift from Felicity. Antonio asked me to bury a capsule a few days ago, so it's good to know they'll mail it to you, if you can't hold it.

That's a cool discovery about storing patterns at the Ables'. I guess the only downside might be that villagers could start wearing them as clothing, but having extra space might be worth it.

I like the layout for the Nurse's Office. It does come across as a medical/rest area. I'm really impressed with what you've done with the house. Very creative.

Hahaha, awesome ones guys. xD

And thanks! :D
Yeah, I suppose my villagers could start wearing the designs, couldn't they? It's not such a big deal since the only ones that I can put in there are my Husky patterns, and at least then they'd be showing some team spirit. x) Would look strange if they were walking around with a brick path on their shirt, but I can't replace the designs I've used for pathways so I don't have to worry about that, haha.

Bonbon came in my house before I'd finished changing the other day too.

I didn't know that villagers could mail you gifts when your pockets were full! That's pretty nice.

Better not break the chain. Nice to hear that Patty's moo-ving!

Hehe, excellent one. ;)
And yeah! It's very nice. I don't think they did that in Wild World, but they were just like "oh your pockets are full...too bad." d:
