At last, I have gained the approval of the HHA.
With that out of the way, I might as well write about what happened today at the big Bug-Off.Lyle was standing outside my door this morning, to no big surprise. He explained all about Theme Challenges, and starting tomorrow I'll be participating in the Rustic theme. I can't wait to give it a go, but that means I'll need to fix some of my rooms.
After I read my letter from Midge, I got dressed and purchased some coffee. All of my villagers were outside swinging their nets because of the Bug-Off, so no one requested any odd jobs for me to do. Nat, however, was in the plaza.

After I fossil hunted, shopped, and watered my flowers, I managed to snag a birdwing butterfly to enter in the competition. My score put me in first place!

To my surprise, Phineas was in town today! He gave me the Seafood Encyclopedia Badge. Must be from that tiger prawn I caught the other day.

To call it a day, I went on the Easy Gardening Tour.
I can't do much tonight (I'm going to see a movie), so don't expect as long as a post tomorrow. (Movie hint: dinosaurs!) Anyways, keep watch for future posts.
