Good afternoon, everyone! Wow, it's almost been 500 days of my mayorship in Storrs! Should I do something special on the 500th day? I can't think of anything that I could do, but I feel like it should be commemorated nonetheless. But anyway, on with what happened on the 498th day, today!
Yet again, as soon as I exited my house this morning, Whitney came rushing over. What does she do, wait outside my door for me until I wake up? Persistent. This time, she told me that she wanted to move on the 23rd. And I told HER that she isn't going anywhere. She seemed happy to stay.
I also found Sahara right outside of my house and decided to patronize her before I got started with my day.

So swiftly, we're already there!
Sahara hooked me up with an Alpine Wall and Sand Garden, the latter of which was an exclusive at least.
That done, I set off on my daily search of the town in the opposite direction as usual. The sun was beating down relentlessly today, with not a cloud in the sky.

Indeed it was. I sat down on the bench with her for a moment while we caught our breaths. Perhaps this is the first screenshot I've ever posted of a part of the Queen's village? Hm...let your curiosities pique!
While we're on that topic, Lily's house is almost at the final 1,100,000 point mark, which will unlock the final golden house part! Unfortunately no fairy tale themed parts were for sale at Nook's today, so I still need to get an exterior, mailbox, and fence. If anyone's shops are selling a fairy-tale version (doesn't matter what kind!) of any of those parts, message me and I would love to come and get it!
Carrying on, I later ran into Fang and he called out to me. He gave me his Weeping Fig for free, since a fortune-telling program told him that good would happen if he gave a gift to the first person he thought of. I was flattered, but that was the WRONG item for him to be gifting! I work so hard to keep those plants in his house. *sigh* I put it up for sale in Re-Tail to await its return to him.
Buck was home and asked me to catch him a Black Bass. I agreed, then forgot to do it. Oh well, I might go back and do that later if I remember. I also noticed he'd set out the Sloppy Chair I gifted him yesterday and it looks pretty good. His house is finally getting somewhere! Upon my exit, I ran into Whitney and Fang hanging out, spending some quality cousin time together no less.

See, she couldn't possibly leave our town!
Since I went about my patrol of the town counterclockwise today, Colton's house was one of the last things I passed. He was in, so of course I stopped by to say hello. He didn't need anything of me today, but I found a Boxing Mat in his dresser that he urged me to keep.

Yeah...exercising will do that to ya, bud.
I took it from him all too eagerly. No one should have to suffer through that pain.
After I left, I came upon a tent in the campsite! Today's camper was Cookie.

She wanted to play a game for said Boxing Mat. I did pretty well and she bought it off of me for a decent amount of bells. That did not satisfy her and she wanted to play another game, which ended in me buying her Right Platform for 4,484 bells. -.- She didn't want to play another game after that.
Lastly, on my way up to Main Street, Whitney told me she wanted a fruit as perfect as she is. Only the perfectest, of course! I retrieved a perfect pear for her and she thanked me with a Backyard Pool. Then I headed across the tracks to have my fossils checked, and returned for some shopping after I'd sold everything to Reese. Nothing else extraordinary to report, so that will do it for this part! Bye. c:
