(I probably should've posted this before moving back clocks but oh well)

Welp, just overnight, I had to turn the clocks back by one hour. It feels so weird seeing the sun come up an hour early. I ask you of this, how do you handle daylight savings time? Do you go to sleep at the same time? Stay up one hour later? Or maybe your country doesn't do it at all?

For me, I stay up one hour later till I go to sleep. People have been saying that we would gain an extra hour of sleep but I beg to differ. I rather do something than to sleep for an extra hour, lol.

Also worth mentioning that my mother said one time that The Philippines used to do this as well. However, it's no longer the case as people who lived there were getting thrown off by the time changes.

I don't do anything different cause I'm always on a whack schedule.
I don't even notice until someone says something about it usually, all my devices automatically update.

My sleep schedule is generally wacky, so it doesn't make too much of a difference to me. I woke up several hours before my alarm today so I didn't even get to make use of the extra hour lmao.

idk how long I sleep but it doesn't really matter when its daylight saving time because I still go to sleep at 12 am and wake up at 8 am. so still no different for me.

I love daylight saving time, I don't understand why people hate it so much. It doesn't really change my sleep at all. For the first week or two, I'm a bit tired, but eventually I don't notice it. I love the longer daylight hours!

This question came at a perfect timing. I'm still debating on what to vote for CA Prop. 7 (a yes would mean that standard time would be year round in CA).

I still go to sleep at the same time, so it doesn't affect me in any way whatsoever. Though sometimes I may notice a difference in my body a little bit since the time changed.

too tired to not sleep tbh

Winter switches are nice because you get a whole extra hour to do things. Summer switches are kind of depressing though. I do think that it is ultimately unnecessary and plenty of areas well above the equator get along fine without it.

I love Daylight Savings Time. I'm more of a nocturnal person so I like that it gets darker earlier in the evening heading into and during Winter. Not a big fan of moving forward in the Spring, but eh. Also, the switch back an hour that we just did never really negatively affects me.

Overall just positive for me.

Normally just I go to bed at the same time, but last night in particular I stayed up an extra hour because I was away on a trip and knew I could afford to stay up since I got an extra hour of sleep, lol

and clearly I should've just gone to bed at 1 instead of 2

not being funny but i think we genuinely should abolish it lmao, like i think with the amount of evidence of how serious weather/the light has on seasonal depression and how little crops we actually grow in winter traditionally now means the whole concept is redundant

I don?t really do anything differently during daylight savings, but I do love the extra hour of sleep. I do work the night shift, though, so I don?t think I even got my extra hour of sleep. My shift cut into the time we set our clocks back.

I went to bed early and woke up even earlier than normal

I still sleep at the same time but tell myself im really getting up at 9:30am and not 8:30am (like the old time)
lol

Actually I think I need to change my vote. Now that I have a job, I notice more the time change. I went to sleep at midnight last night, which I actually thought was late. However this mornin I woke up an entire hour before my alarm went off and I couldn't go back to sleep.

I think tonight I need to go to sleep at 1am, so that way my alarm will wake me up. Over the next few days I'll get adjusted since I don't have work then.

Arizona(with the exception of the Navajo Nation)does not observe Daylight Savings Time.In the early Seventies Arizona asked the U.S. government for an exemption due to the hot weather in the summer months. The state was concerned that an extra hour of daylight wasn't a good thing for business and recreation. For once our local government knuckleheads did something right.
