Day 418
Hello, everyone, and welcome to days 418 through 420 of my daily adventures in Shizen! I apologize for my absence here on the forums. These next weeks are going to be busy, so these posts won't be as frequent as usual from now on. Anyways, on this first day (418), no one sent me mail, so I began everything just as normal.
Getting dressed, having coffee, and working at my part-time job went by quickly, and it wasn't until afterwards that I came across Midge. She convinced me to take a fishing vest, and I was glad to do so; after all, it was another item in my catalogue.
Velma needed me next. She gave me a rocking chair, and then requested a pear. I was rewarded with a shaved-ice maker once that task was completed.
Tex, seeing that now I had nothing to do, asked if I could take a lemon-gingham tee over to Marshal. I agreed, but the gift ended up being actually for me! I know that I've said it before, but it always seems that Marshal gets caught up in these strange deliveries.
Katrina was in the plaza again, and I paid her a visit. I wasn't wearing the lucky item, but thankfully I ran into no problems.

Lily was camping in town today as well.

We played a game, and in the end, I was forced to take home an overpriced patchwork table. Lily was hoping that I wouldn't hold a grudge. Thankfully, she doesn't have to worry!
I ended the day by starting the water well project and taking a dark polka shirt from Marshal. I didn't forget to fossil hunt, shop, or water my flowers either.
Day 419
Once again, my mailbox was empty, so getting dressed and completing my coffee business didn't take long at all. Midge seized this opportunity to give me a flame tee, which was sold at Re-Tail later.
Unfortanetly, Marshal was ill, and I made sure to pick up some medicine for him. I'm hoping that he'll recover soon.

Anyways, next Shari wanted an apple, and when I gave her a perfect one she happily gave me a round cactus. I'm wondering what I can do to get her to hand over a copy of her picture...
I went fossil hunting, and when I was just about to finish shopping, Labelle gave me her mannequin! I'd just stopped by to purchase an umbrella, and I'm so happy that we've bonded enough for her to hand over a mannequin.

On that positive note, I watered my flowers and found Gulliver down at the beach. I (well, okay, my sister) helped him find his way back to South Korea.

While I was still on the sand, I realized that it was the perfect time to go to the island, and I did so to participate in the Cicada-Catching Tour.
Day 420
In the mail today, I recieved a samgyetang from Gulliver and a letter from Kitty. I'm glad to see that letter writing might be picking back up. It's been changing in a quite unpredictabe way lately! I also discovered that there is going to be a meteor shower tonight, but I'm too busy to attend... darn it. D':
I changed my outfit, ordered a cup of coffee to go, and helped Brewster out before I checked up on my needy neighbors. I took a peacock chair from Midge-something I'd never heard of, but at least that meant that my catalogue was one step closer to being completed. I also received a lovely chair from Gayle.
I changed Wolfgang's catchphrase, and then grabbed an orange for him. I was rewarded with an alpine chair for my hard work! Yes! After I refurbish it, that means that my alpine-themed room will be near complete. Thank you, Wolfgang!
Lobo needed Tex for something, so I found my penguin friend hanging out near the plaza. When I brought him to Lobo, they had a strange conversation:

In the end, Lobo gave me a queen, and I even helped Tex out some more by modifying his catchphrase.
I went fossil hunting, shopped, and watered my flowers before I saved for the day. Oh, yes, and I didn't forget to give Marshal his daily dosage of medicine.
The Fireworks Show
I promised everyone that I would update you all on the Fireworks Show, so below I have several screenshots. There's a picture limit here for blogs, so it's not much at all-just dialogue.
