Introduction

Hello, everyone, and welcome to days 421 through 425 of my daily adventures in Shizen! Before I begin, I have news to share with you all. School will be starting for me in several weeks, which means that I will no longer be able to blog until next summer. Don't worry; I still have time now, but in the future I will make sure to notify everyone on the day that I will have to stop blogging altogether. :'(

In addition, last weekend I was at boot camp, so that explains my most recent absence. It came quite quickly, so I didn't find the time to inform you all on my departure before the day came. However, I've returned home, and hopefully things will pick up once again. With that, let's get started!

Days 421 through 423 - I was at boot camp and didn't get to play Animal Crossing.

Day 424

I'd been away from Shizen for a while, so I was quite relieved when I started my game for the day's activities. Marshal had sent me a letter and a modern wood stool, and Shari was testing out some new stationary.

I got dressed and quickly had some coffee since there was no need to work at my part-time job today. There was going to be the second Fireworks Show of the year! This meant that no villagers requested anything, except for Lobo, who wanted me to dig up a time capsule. Inside was a firefighter shirt, which was handed over to me.

I fossil hunted, shopped, and watered my flowers before the Fireworks Show began. When it was time to celebrate, I pulled out my roman candles and fountain fireworks to enjoy the beautiful scene with my neighbors.

Day 425

Today began with Pete showing up at my door.

I received a letter from Nintendo, as you can see, and Wolfgang had sent me mail. In addition, the alpine chair I'd ordered the other day was here.

I just finished changing into my clothes when there was a knock on the door from Velma.

We had a good conversation, and after she left I ordered some takeout coffee and worked with Brewster. Since Lobo wanted to check out my house later, I agreed to give him the grand tour. Unfortunately, I captured no screenshots of Lobo's visit, but rest assured: I didn't forget to thank him in a letter!

When I emerged from my house again, Tex pinged me. He wanted to move! YES! I already have his picture, so I agreed without hesitation. It's been a very long time since Shizen's had a new villager.

Redd's tent was in the plaza today, and I purchased a worthy painting from him. It's always genuine, and hopefully I don't already have it in the museum...

Shortly afterwards, I found a lost book on the ground and returned it to Midge.

I ended the eventful day by fossil hunting, shopping, watering my flowers, participating in the Official Balloon-Hunt Tour, and taking an optical tank off of Gayle's hands. Was that a souvenir from Storrs, I wonder, since she went camping there the other day?

Keep watch for future posts. :)

Hm...can't recall seeing an optical tank for sale in town recently, but she could have found it lying around somewhere. Hehe.

I'm really going to miss your blogs, if you can't post during the school year! ): Hopefully you could blog every other weekend or so.

Yes, I might get around to doing it on the weekends! I'll only write about major events, so my posts will be shorter then.
