Day 430
Hello, everyone, and welcome to days 429 and 430 of my daily adventures in Shizen! I didn't play on day 429, so this post will revolve more around the Bug-Off. There might be another update later tonight because of the Fireworks Show as well.
Anyways, the start of the competitive day began with a letter from Velma, as always. She'd given me dragon leggings through the mail.
I got dressed and had some coffee, although Brewster was in no need of help. Since there was an event today, everyone would be too busy to stop by, so I left The Roost and ran into Gayle. She convinced me to buy a bingo wheel.
In addition, Tex was all packed for his big move! He should be leaving soon, and I said my final farewell to him.

After I fossil hunted, shopped, and watered my flowers, I turned in a tiger butterfly to Nat for 58 points. This put me in first place, and I received a standing spotlight. However, I managed to snag a jewel beetle and turn that one in for 71 points later. I'd beaten my own record, and was rewarded with a lovely wall.
When it came around to the awards ceremony, I happily participated and discovered that I had finished in first place! I'm very proud of the other villagers and their results, though.

I went to K.K. Slider's live concert and listened to K.K. Jazz before calling it a night.
