Greetings, everyone! I am back from my vacation, so it's time to get my blog back on all fours. Lately, I'm sure everyone has noticed a significant change in the weather. The greenery has lightened and rain is more frequent. I'm not looking forward to the cooler weather, but I'm determined to make the most of it anyway! In other developments, I also received a letter from Whitney a few days ago, informing me that she will be having a get-together for her birthday on the 17th. I'll have to get on finding her a good present!
Day 525
Yesterday, Felicity came over for a surprise visit while I was getting dressed. She didn't stay long but we had a good time all the while. Out and about, Colton ran up to me and told me what I'd been hoping to hear!

It's technically not free of charge, although it technically is for him and other villagers, considering they never help out much with such matters. Nevertheless, I was very excited to unlock the cube sculpture. I was planning on putting one in front of Stef's new house, once I start getting to work on its school theme.
A bit later, Melba wanted to come over to my house for a visit as well.

Then, Lily told me she wanted something to replace her Cassette Player. Since she has a green room like me, I thought the Morning Glory I recently refurbished to pink would look nice in her house, so I decided to give her that and order a new one for myself.
Felicity also wanted me to come over to her house yesterday. I agreed pay her a thank-you visit and got her to sell me her Soccer Shirt. Also, Colton wanted me to catch him a river fish and thanked me with a Floral Knit Tee in return for a pale chub.
I finished off my day with adding a few things to Stef's house, commissioning a Stadium Light and working on what I was going to put with it. Any guesses? Oh, and I added a special tile to go with my area below the train station.

Day 526
Today I woke up to pouring rain, so I switched my hair bow for my rain hat and put on some boots. Buck wanted to come to my house and we set a time for 11:30, which fortunately wasn't far off at the time. I've been doing good with remembering my villagers' appointments!
Fang told me that Chief had been over to his house and said he needed more decorations. So I guess they're back to doing that again. I took the Weeping Fig I was saving for him out of Re-Tail and handed it over, which he seemed happy to get. I also noticed that Melba put her Minimalist Ottoman up for sale... I swear, she's as bad as Lolly with keeping her house in order!
I spoke to Lily and she went on about how much she loves the rain. She and I may be the only ones in town that truly do, haha.

After I finished my daily rounds of the town, I talked to Isabelle about the Stadium Light completion ceremony. Although the weather didn't merit a celebration at all, I decided to have it anyway. I must say, it looks pretty super! I'll definitely share pictures tomorrow when hopefully the weather will be better. After the ceremony was over, I headed back to Town Hall to commission another project, this time another custom-design sign to go with Stef's house. I'll get a picture of that tomorrow as well.
Then it was time to hang out with Buck at my house. Always a good time with my best pal.

I guess that's all I have to share for today. I'm sorry things have been all over the place with my past few posts! I promise the blog will get more back to normal come tomorrow. I look forward to seeing you all then!
