Ooh, hadn't thought of the trading villagers one! That'd be super convenient.

Anyway, I'm thinking of putting a pipe on my back cliff that's kind of hard to get to. I may even replace a ramp with it, which would be AWESOME, because there are several more places I'd love to put ramps but I can't because I can't place anymore. But I'm placing one there, and one in my main area that I'm gonna set up a Mario festival in for a bit. After the Mario fest, I'll probably hide it behind a house just for convenience.

The warp pipes seem like such a versatile thing to use, nice!

Thanks for putting these tips together, dude, very helpful!

I think they'll be great for any online interaction, honestly.
  • Sell turnips - warp to Nook's Cranny and back, cutting down on trip time for each visitor
  • Celeste and Daisy Mae - trap them in a fenced area with a warp pipe, meaning you don't have to lead people to them
  • Airport security - fence in your airport and the warp pipe, as well as the area with the second warp pipe, then you only need to watch the airport to make sure no one dives to get around it

All the ideas are great and I especially love #4: can't wait to not have to deal anymore with going all the way back to the house whenever my pocket is full.

Thats really great! I hope more people take notice.

i put 1 by my house and 1 by the campsite since i invite amiibo villagers often so it's quicker for me to go to my house and craft what the villager wanted

Plan on putting one by the airport, and the other in a fenced in area filled with Mario stuff. I'm jazzed for these.

Omg yess

Some useful tips indeed! My house is placed at the back of my island on a second level cliff, which is pretty much the farthest distance from the airport. I decided to place one by my house and by the airport because of this and for faster trading with others c:

yup, the first thing I did after getting the pipe this morning was to clean out my storage. it went amazingly fast, such a great addition to the game, despite me not being a fan of mario lol

Using the pipe for villager trading is a great idea. Especially since you can fence it and the villager's house in to prevent your guest from wandering (unless they have a wet suit, but that's easier to spot).

Some great tips here! I’ll be getting my first two pipes in the morning. I’ll probably do a house/shop combo start. From there, will definitely be considering the suggestions in this thread.

thank you for sharing!! i’m still a bit undecided on where to put my pipes but i think maybe i’ll carry one around with me and have the other one near the shops. :’)

I ended up putting one on either far end of the beach so I can easily do laps around it for like shells or stars or looking for gullivar or whatever
