Do you use Nook Mile Tickets for Villager Hunting or Getting Materials?

If I can avoid island hopping I do. So Im pretty much only ever using on material hunts! But sometimes on hunts, I find vilagers if I have a spot

But I don't like villager hunting. So yeah. Just material hunts. Except recently when I spent 160 tickets trying to find Genji, because I wanted him

Then I found Sherb while hunting for Materials.

I remember spending 800 nmts when trying to find Raymond but I gave up until I spent 400 nmts to a trusted seller on Nookazon just to get him. Same thing with Molly but she only appeared at the campsite by Random after 2 long months of searching.

i rarely use them anymore. i stopped hunting for villagers a while back so i could use my last two free plots to cycle through random villagers and earn pictures, and i'm usually well-stocked on materials since i hit my rocks everyday and generally don't craft. the only time i use tickets now is when i get the nook mile task to chop a tree down -- if i feel like it, i'll fly out to an island and tear the whole thing up then use the materials to craft stuff and make progress on my crafting furniture/tools achievements.

Dunno if it counts as materials...but I used to use NMTs to create scorpion/tarantula islands when Flick was visiting just to get out of debt faster.

I only use them for villager hunting. I already have 8+ stacks of most materials in my storage so I don’t need more and I enjoy villager hunting. I also go through a lot of tickets trying to find the villagers I want, so I dont want to waste them on anything else.

Big time both. I spent over 200 tickets hunting for Ozzie and I've spent countless getting resources. I always collect the plam trees since my island is tropical/jungle themed. I also use it to get bamboo and woods. I wish i could run into hybrid flower island more often tho.

Both of my starters are still on my island, and I decided I was going to try and update their furniture after allllll this time. I was in need of a lot of regular wood to make some pieces of furniture, and was having trouble getting enough so I went on a bunch of mystery island tours, mainly just to get regular wood. The only other thing I'd pick up was the recipes if they were washed ashore.

I also spent like 108 tickets to get Megan the bear. 💜

At this point, mostly material hunting, but I have found some really sweet villagers as well! But I rarely go out looking just for villagers. My most recent island hopping venture, I was actually hoping to find trash for DIYs, aha! :ROFLMAO:

Lately I've been using them to fish/bug hunt in peace. While there I craft furniture items with some of the resources for players Nook Miles furniture and tool. Clay, softwood and Coconut furniture get left on a Mystery Island.

I used to do a lot of island hopping in the past. But I rarely do that nowadays after completing my villager lineup. However, I still go there sometimes to farm a few materials for crafting.

On my main island I only used it for materials because I had all my dreamies as amiibos :D. On my second island however I villager hunted the first 3 plots, I wasn’t too picky though so I picked the first cute villager I saw, I had fun getting my own Audie though but she’s easy to find, being the only wolf peppy.

I haven't done villager hunting in a long time, actually. I got too attached to what I have...
When the Easter event came back (I missed the first one) I used my tickets to go get more eggs, especially the ones from rocks.

I almost exclusively use them for villager hunting now just because hopping is so time consuming, and I don't really craft that much so I don't need all that many resources. way back at the beginning of the game I did make a lot of scorpion islands to grind out bells, and there was one point maybe a month or two ago where i wanted to complete the fruit selling nook mile achievement so i just went to tons of islands and picked all the fruit

I mainly use them for getting materials. I’m not a fan of villager hunting, although when I have an open plot I do like to visit a couple of different islands and see if I find any cute villagers that I might want. But even then I gather materials from those islands too.

At the start of the game I went villager hunting for my starters. And I also went to island for materials. Especially the iron to make the shop.

Not done too much of either since the start of the game.

Went to islands to get gold to make the giant robot.

Went island hopping to see what villagers would show up once. I wasn't looking for him but I found raymond in around 50 tickets so I took him.

Went hunting for cyd the other day and and found him in around 200 tickets.

That's pretty much all I can say I've done
