Deleting Inbox Messages?

Okay, well, I know how to empty my folder in my Inbox. But how do I clear out my folder without deleting what's in my Inbox? There's an important letter I want to save, but if I empty the folder I don't want the important letter to disappear too.
If there's anyone that can help with this, I would kindly appreciate it! Thank you so much!

I think you can select all the messages, then go through and deselect the one you want to keep...
Then you would select Selected Mesaages at the bottom, then select delete, then proceed.
Try it, then PM me if it doesn't work...
