Enter me. You have good taste, because yes FMA is a masterpiece, if we're talking manga. Easily the best standard action shonen manga I've read. It quite simply just does everything right, including plenty of things other manga in the same genre either fail at and/or don't seem to try to do competently. Brotherhood being an adaption of the manga is automatically fantastic, though manga still wins out. Don't care at all for the 2003 anime though. Expected quality animation and fight sequences from Bones and music aside, its dumb imo.

Thanks for entering! And yes I am mostly talking about the manga, it is brilliantly well thought and accomplished. And I totally agree with everything that you said, except about the 2003 anime which I really enjoyed, and thought was very interesting (the end, though not faithful to the original manga which is only normal considering it wasn't finished then, was original and made sense). But I get your point and I understand why quite a lot I people didn't like it. All in all the manga is better than any anime...
