Mafia Dethy (Quick micro game)

Hey All! I wanted to do a Dethy. This is a setup that is very small, quick (24 hour days/nights), and very low commitment/not intense at all. Just sign up for some fun! No need to be serious or make any big reads posts! The setup is below.

5 and only 5 players are needed for the game. First 5 to /in play.

Roles:
Sane Detective: You are perfect at your powers and will accurately give your target's alignment.
Insane Detective: You have excellent skills, but you do not know how to use it properly. You will get the opposite alignment of your target.
Naive Detective: You are very unconfident in your abilties. You will just assume all of your targets are town aligned.
Paranoid Detective: You are extremely cautious and untrusting. You assume all of your targets are mafia aligned.
Mafioso: Scummy to the core. You need to kill everyone or equal the amount of remaining players to execute the diabolical plan.

Sanity of detectives is unknown to players, even upon death. Game will start on N1 with no mafia kills, only inspections.​

btw from the times I hosted these, the games only lasted like 2-3 days and only reached 100ish posts. its mostly just waiting for everyone to report their results

Since I have all 5 now, I'll just send out roles now and start at 12PM EST. The game will start on Night 1 where only detectives can send in their inspections (No Kill). You'll have up to 28 hours (till 4PM EST tomorrow) to send in your inspections. But if everyone sends them in early, I'll end night sooner. All actions are final

what do you think of the set up btw? what do you think we should do about investigations for N0?
typically the main school of thoughts is to all investigate one person or do a round robin, where everyone investigates a different person so we all have at least one read on each person.

I think we should all definitely plan something... but I don't know if vocalizing everything is a good idea. Scum can only blend in with the more information they have so ideally we shouldn't say EVERYTHING. Then mafia slips up in their story and we nail em

scum really can't do anything right now... they really only get power when they have the results of investigations to blend in with. Otherwise this is just a mountainous set-up
