I have tried to word this post several times but each time I end up spoon-feeding good tactics for fooling us to the mafia and I don't really wanna do that ugh

Can I just say I think we should do x and leave explaining why x is a good idea until we get our investigation results?
If I explain something in further detail, it basically ruins the whole thing because it tells mafia exactly what to do for it to no longer be a good idea

while yes, I too do not want to say too much... I still think we will need some sort of plan for this first night. Otherwise, if we just say "lol do whatever" thats gonna make it even easier for the mafioso to slip right through. If we have some sort of plan, if someone doesn't follow it or gets weird about it, then we will know who it is.

Agree with Bianca - at least for this first night, I think it would be the best idea if we all agree to investigate the same single person. Maybe not do that every night but for round 1 probably smart. We agree one person to dogpile reads on, and the person we are piling onto announces who they intend to read too, maybe?

I mean saying who were are is pretty much just the same as a role claim in normal mafia, and it's not like we've got a wide range of roles to go off of, even if you're lying, is it? Every single one of us would claim detective lol
