Today I met Blathers and Gulliver.

Reneigh and Hamlet have houses, but Amelie is still in her tent. I told Nook I wanted a house, so I'll get it tomorrow. Reneigh's house is really sad though compared to her real house. I guess its fine because I don't plan to keep them for very long.

Leif was on DevilFalls today as well, and Timmy asked me to start gathering materials for the shop. I need 1 more donation to open the museum which I could easily get, but I'm stalling because I like how it looks as a tent.

DevilFalls dream address is up. If anyone misses the beginning of the game, you could visit it. The museum and RS are still tents and there's no shops. I wanted to create it when my villagers and I were still in tents too, but I didn't get the option to do it. I left a vaulting pole and ladder by RS so you can access the rest of the island.

Hunting for villagers 3-5

For the first 3 I can invite, I’m looking for Winnie, Olive, Cole. I went to 1 island earlier to see if I can find villagers yet, and I can so I’m going to try to get nmt from my other island so I can start looking for them. This is the first time I’ve tried looking for only 1 (or 3 in this case) specific villager. I‘ve always settled for someone else because I get bored with island hopping. This time I want to keep going until I find them.

Last night I saw Celeste for the first time, and confirmed my weather seed is correct. I should be getting a heavy shower on November 11. Super exciting!

I think I want to have 5 characters eventually. I'm not sure what I'll name them yet, but they'll all be vampires.

Resident Services upgraded today, 21 days after starting the island. I'm really going to miss the music from the beginning. I was trying to keep it for as long as possible, plus I didn't want Isabelle on my island because she annoys me. I was hoping to get different colors of the nook mile items, but I ended up with the same lighthouse color that I have on Goose Isle. Now I'll have to trade to get the colors I want. At least I have my black street lamps that I had to reset many times to get. Now I can start adding bridges and inclines. I like having ceremonies, so I think I'll start with the cheapest options for bridges/inclines and "upgrade" them when I get more bells and my island is more developed. That way I can get double the ceremonies. I'm sad that I never get to have them on my other island anymore.

I also had a ceremony for the second museum upgrade.

I'm super excited to start adding more villagers and hopefully they won't be as difficult to find as Cole was.

There's so much happening today on DevilFalls. The campsite was built yesterday, and today we have Zell staying there! He's one of my dreamies for this island, and also Goose Isle so I'm super excited. I almost bought his amiibo, but I decided to wait and see who turned up at the campsite, and I'm glad I waited.

Yesterday I also completed Cast Master. I did cheat twice though by closing the game when I messed up, so it's not as impressive as how Livia did it. With her I completed it by March 28 without making any mistakes.

Mabel also asked about opening the store today, so we'll have a new store soon! DevilFalls will also have a new bridge tomorrow!

I paid off my house loan a couple days ago, but I'm not ready to expand it yet because I like how it looks with the bushes on the side instead of rooms. My storage is getting full though so I may have to upgrade soon.

I got a million bells from my first week of turnips! I read that the first week you buy will be a special pattern where you always make a profit, so I spent all my bells on buying them. I bought 68 stacks of turnips and this morning they were selling for 194! I'm a little sad though because I like the challenge of getting bells, and the game becomes less fun for me when I have millions. This may be my last turnip purchase for a while until I run out of bells. I still need to expand my house several times because I only have the back room so that will use up most of my bells plus I need to add more bridges and inclines and move some buildings after I unlock terraforming.

I upgraded Amelie's house to have a side room. I'm not sure what I'm doing with that room yet so its currently empty. Her house before the upgrade.

Myrnin's house also got an upgrade to the large room. Before the upgrade

I plan to buy a plot and go villager hunting soon. I'm just nervous about it because of how long my last hunt was, and this time I won't be able to do it over multiple days. I will have to find a villager that day, but I guess if I get someone bad as a random move in I can kick them with amiibo because I have my amiibo cards. I enjoy villager hunting though, so I'm saving them for now.

Villager hunting time again!

The shop is closed for the upgrade, so I decided to go villager hunting for my 9th villager. Now I have 1 of each personality so I'll take anyone from my dreamie list. I don't want to spend more than 100 tickets though so if it takes too long then I'll settle for someone else.

Villager hunting time again! For the tenth villager!

I invited Robin even though she's not on my dreamie list because I want to experience as many villagers as I can, so I don't want to start with only permanent villagers. I'd rather start with villagers that I can maybe let go some day. I also thought it was perfect that her name is Robin because that last couple times I went villager hunting I watched episodes of HIMYM on youtube.
