Just asking, because I just faced it for around the 10TH TIME, and it finally went down. It was all thanks to my original starter, actually, my now level 100 Infernape. It's probably just my team and the fact that Psychic and Dragon type moves wreck all of them, but I put Infernape first the last time, got a Shadow Claw in, then Infernape fainted, used several others in my team, revived Infernape, used 2 HP Restores from Rotom, and then Ultra Necrozma fell as I was able to manage two more Shadow Claws to take it out. Man... that was probably one of the most difficult Pok?mon battles of my life. I have to imagine my MC died in the other 9 or less realities where my whole team ended up getting swept, and my team is no joke either.

So that brings up another question of mine, did ANYONE else have trouble with Ultra Necrozma, and how did you deal with it? Just asking, because the games have been out for almost half a year now (if not half a year), and it seems pretty insane that this hasn't been talked about much.

ultra necrozma is cheap to the point of ridiculousness. So I was cheap back and brought in a level 100 from Pokemon Bank to deal with that mofo :lemon: Probably not many talk about it because they did the exact same and don't want to talk about it :lemon:

Lol, it makes sense though. Who did you call-up for the strikeout, might I ask?

That...that..THING is so nasty! I had no idea what to expect my first time fighting it and it destroyed my team! None of my pokemon could live long enough to hit it. It was awful. I finally cheesed my way thru with Toxic. I had to keep reviving my team until one of them FINALLY got a Toxic off and then continued to revive them as needed until that HORRIBLE creature fainted from the poison damage. WHEW.

No. I used Toxic on it and was able to defeat it in less than 5 attacks.

That battle was really hard for me. I trained my Mimikyu a little bit more after losing several times because it was the only Pokemon on my team that could hit Necrozma without relying on luck (Pokemon Refresh affection). Since I got it from Wonder Trade, I only trained it up to the max level where it still fully obeys me. I forgot exactly how I won, but I know my Mimikyu used a Ghost Z-Move (Maybe two with Rotomdex) and my Alolan Raichu got to use Thunder Wave before it fainted thanks to luck. I don't remember how many items I used during the battle.

After reading the posts here, I'm thinking I should have taught my Mimikyu Toxic.

1st time it took awhile. I just used revives until I was able to defeat it.

The 2nd playthru I used a level 5 Zorua in the front of my party and Hawlucha last in the party.
Used Toxic until it was defeated. Zorua was nicknamed Cheese It.
Sometimes this method only works for 2 to 3 toxic but you can revive Zorua and continue. Or just use your other pokemon.

Uhh not really? I don't even remember that fight ngl lol. But yeah I had some neat Bank stuff to go so I guess they did the job.

Yeah I had to do a lot of grinding, which took a few hours since there were no trainers to level on. Even 5-10 levels higher I wasn't having luck. It was just outspeeding everything on my team and OHKOing them. Eventually I was high enough level that I could take some of the attacks without just dying.

Aegislash resists all of the moves it has. There are reaction compilations on youtube for this battle. I can't link one, but they amuse me.

Honestly no. My Milotic was able to take a hit and toxic it. Then I was able to take an immune attack. I only lost one Pokemon to heal up my Milotic and get a free switch in to do a large amount of damage to it
