Yeah there is that. I periodically look at the achievements and know I will never clear that one unless I get desperate for something to do lol.

I can’t believe that up until now I hadn’t realized (or remembered) the blue rose was worth just as much as the gold rose! I have fields and fields of gold roses, lol. Now I am rethinking my strategy! I wonder what a gold and blue rose field would look like. Looks like I could spend a few hours checking this out! Thanks for the inspiration!

I don't mess with turnips in the games, unless I'm trying to get something. Like getting bamboo shoots faster without hunting for the bamboo islands.

And sometimes I just flat out forget that the turnips have deadlines or when I want to TT and forget I had them on me.

So you didn’t plant bamboo on your island? Or do you just mean until you landed on a bamboo island for the first time? First time I got bamboo I just planted some on my island so now I have a regenerating source.

I’m saving my bamboo until I get enough time to clear out some land and create a large waterfall to design a zen garden. The bamboo shoots will become the walls.

Such a great idea! I kinda suck when it comes to designing and decorating my island, lol so it looks pretty bad and I’ve never even done any terraforming. Well a teensy bit one time….I think. I love zen gardens and your idea sounds so cool! And a waterfall! I hope you will share your creation once it’s completed! I’m trying to figure out how the shoots would create a wall?

I’m going to plant them in rows in a way that they form a parallel line with a space in between each one to give them room to grow. I have trees lined up in a similar fashion and I figured that bamboo has to be similar.

in every single ac title i’ve avoided the stalk market. acnh is no different. i can’t be asked to keep track of the prices so i can maximize my profit. i’ve always preferred bugs and fish hunting to make my fortune.

I used to religiously use Daisy Mae so that I could comfortably have enough money to pay off the house loans and have money to buy out the stores everyday. Nowadays, if I remember to boot my game on Sunday I'll buy some just to try and maintain some sort of income incase I need it.

i had a period where i did use the turnip system ! normally it was me and my friends visiting each other to maximize our profits but eventually i just stopped spending bells since i often didn't get good prices and just liked finding/seeing her around my island instead :3

i like spotting her at brewster !!!! but she baby so hopefully she's only there to get milk (ㅅ´ ˘ `)

I don't interact with Daisy Mae, I never really cared about turnips anyway. I only got a turnip once to attract ants I haven't already donated to the museum before.

Honestly I forgot all about the ants! Yes I did get them for that. But once I fulfilled that achievement I never bothered with them again. In fact my “cornering the stalk market achievement doesn’t have 1 stamp on it! I’m thinking it probably never will. Maybe when everything else is completely done and I’m bored, but honestly I disliked that activity so much I highly doubt it

The stalk market has always been too stressful for me! If you keep the stakes low, the potential returns aren’t high enough to justify the extra effort and worry. If you go for a huge gamble, you have to arrange online sales or obsess over checking the price every day. I’ve tried it a few times just for fun, but I’d rather play the game at a relaxed pace.

The nosedrip bothers me too (glad I’m not the only one) . I have ocd so it honestly bothers me a lot even though she is kinda cute.

Oh my gosh, thank you! So many people love Daisy Mae but she grosses me out and I can’t look at her very long at all, gotta turn away, lol! That doesn’t have anything to do though with me not wanting to buy turnips.
