Did everyone get the same happy home Paradise items?

I just logged in and I saw that I have the beach parasol bankers lamp, etc...
Everyone gets the same items first go?

Seems so. I had bankers lamp (white), old phone (red), a plant, beach parasol etc.

My and my GF played HHP today, and we got same type of items, but different variations, like colour of lamp, beach parasol, different drink - but most probably plant was exactly the same.
Not sure if items will be changed daily (like our store) or maybe after some achievements.

I think they rotate daily just like with nooks!

I'm not sure about new currency, so as it's my first day at work I'm not spending any money yet. I've been thinking about a box of chocolate, but don't want any of my villagers to be tempted for a holiday house for now.
