I just watched the e3 trailer for Smash Bros. for WiiU and 3DS. watch it here: Smash Bros. Trailer
At first I was like "omg the wiiU version of animal crossing already?!" and then I saw the smash bros logo on the envelope. I honestly yelled out loud! Its about time we got our animal crosser as a character! They made the town look really cool too in the trailer! I even saw isabelle!
I watched it live and the stream froze for me during the whole intro and then threw up an images of 'Villager' chopping a tree and hitting Mario with it, and Balloon fight style flying and then so much happy exploded through my face I had trouble seeing the rest. xP
It looked pretty good although there were a few things I wasn't to happy about. For one, I didn't like the cell shaded look of the 3DS version, and when they showed it on screen the graphics didn't seem too impressive, although I'm sure it'll look pretty good on an actual 3DS. The other problem was with the Wii U's graphics. For me the graphics didn't really impress me all that much, It's strange how they went from more realistic looking characters in brawl back to more of a melee style
Though there were some things that I was happy about, like the inclusion of Megaman and Villager. I think Villager is going to be a really cool character, more along the lines of characters like Lucas, Ness, or Olimar. Although the highlight of the announcement was definitely Megaman, and I can't wait to play as him. Hopefully more 3rd party characters make appearances in the game.
Pretty pumped. But I swear to god, I watched the Xbox E3, no intention of buying an xbox, and when they showed the reveal for killer instinct 3, I shouted at my screen for 2 mins straight. Then I realised it wasn't nintendo or sony. I cried alot last night.
I am soooo excited for this game. Words cannot express how excited I am.
I can dominate with Pikachu, but now that the Villager has come along, I'll have to learn how to dominate with him!
I still need to buy New Leaf. It seems like such an awesome game. The graphics look amazing. I put 8 dollars down at Gamestop for preorder a year ago, but I'm not sure if they'll still have it o_o..
Uhhgggg why has 2013 been such a year full of gaming! I have a huge list of games I need to buy, but I can't because I don't have any moneyyyyy OTL........
Wii fit trainer looks so funny, like one of those "game & watch" characters, thats so weird. I hope they have a male model version though. same with Animal Crosser, I hope they have a female reskin.
I never really noticed the change in graphics until you said something.. I wonder how the other characters will look. When they showed off Samus I thought her graphics were better and bowser looked pretty good. Im just waiting to see Peach
I used Ness and Peach the most, but I am deff going to try animal crosser as one of my new mains
Villager looks brilliant in Smash. Seen quite a bit of sinister Villager fan art XD. Me and my boyfriend were talking about it and saying that he should be the "Mayor of Pain". Wii fit trainer looks great too. If I get the game, I'm probably going to play as these two because they're kind of whacky
I wonder how they are planning to do the port on the 3DS, but otherwise, I'm pretty hyped! Owned every Smash Bros, so it will be great to see how this one turns out. Now to actually buy a WiiU......
