Guest, can you feel the love in the air? Valentine's Week at The Bell Tree has begun with a new mini-event featuring four activities to enjoy -- new and returning collectibles are up for grabs! Dive in to the love here.
Yep I did! I wasn't a please experience really, it was freezing cold outside and my by the time we were finished walking up and down the hills of my friend's neighbourhood my legs felt like they were going to buckle! My costume was also a little hard to get used to walking in as I hadn't worn it out before and it wasn't warm either (the fabric was quite thin and I wasn't wearing any layers, just the blouse and jeans mixed with the accessories) I thought that wearing a jacket would ruin the costume so I politely declined the offers for one, I obviously regretted it! My friend's neighbourhood was also the least festive place ever, about 2 houses with decorations, no other trick or treaters in sight and only a few houses actually opened their doors. I suppose I didn't mind about not getting that much candy as I don't eat sugary things but the dull atmosphere mixed with the fatigue and cold weather just about sealed the deal for me to be a little down the entire time. I kind of wish I stayed home and continued to hand out candy to the few trick or treaters round my way instead (at least the cheery atmosphere and bright decorations would have been able to brighten my mood) but alas, when we returned home we sat and played video games to try and cheer ourselves up. I think I'll make some different plans for next year and go to one of the parties I was invited to instead!
nah! i watched the amityville horror and then last minute decided to go to a halloween party and i ate some food and came home. i never was too keen on trick or treating, even when i was younger.
No, but I went to volunteer at the mall! I met so many adorable kids and my voice is horse from cheering them on and wishing them a happy halloween for 4 hours straight ; U;
Yes, but the neighborhood's not nearly as good as it used to be. There used to be dozens of apartments that would give out candy. Now there's probably about 16 houses that gave out candy, and I only saw 3 or 4 groups of kids at best. Last year's Halloween was already quiet, this year's even more so.
Yes, I went for the first and last time
I'm probably considered too old to go anyway but I moved from a country that doesn't celebrate Halloween to one that does so I wanted to try it out and it was very fun! ^_^
I'm glad I got the experience
