The inspiration behind Cephalobot is HR Giger, the incredible artist who made the Xenomorph design in the sci-fi/horror Alien movies.
It made me like the character much more since I'm a big fan of this licence (yeah I know it's quite the opposite of Animal Corssing in terms of atmosphere )

His house interior is so great and clearly has multiple references to the movies :

For example I think the yellow crane is a nod to the Power Loader used by Ripley in the second movie

He's living on my 2nd island and gotta say his interior fits him pretty well for a Robot villager.

I found him on an island and moved him in. I got his amiibo card in one of my packs today and I’m so happy to have it. He’s one of the best from series 5!

Yeah I know ! Super Metroid is one of my favorite game, I think this game is unmatched in terms of level design and has crazy atmosphere too.

I kinda regret not picking him up on the island. He shouldn't be too hard to find again hopefully. He's probably my favorite octopus, and favorite of the cyborg villagers

All robot villagers have a model number on the back of their head.

Ribbot has 59 and Sprocket has 04 on theirs.

Means there are either that many of the specifc villager model for robots or that there are just that many robots and they share the same creator.
