i did end up getting a new router recently, so i'm thinking that might be the issue? everything else is connecting just fine to it though (tested it out on my switch and it works fine too 3: )

edit: i was able to fix it i think! my ds wasn't connecting to my router properly i think but it should work now! please let me know if you'd like to try again!
