i don't know i was really mad at this game and i am a huge AC fan but this one the controls were great design okay but they didnt really change anything from game cube one.... :gyroidmad: what do you guys think?

Alot was different to me, y'know, considering the biggest point being Wi-Fi.
1 House.
Rolling planet feel instead of acres.
More fish, bugs and fossils.
Removal of GOOD holidays.. -.-
No more horns, actual hair, along with accessories and hats.
The Roost.
Constellations and a visable sky.

ALOT of things have been added from the GCN version.

no i do know that there were quite ammount of changes but only a few were better thats what i ment lol sorry for misunderstanding :gyroidveryhappy:

The thing about Wild World, for me, was that it just didn't have the feel the first one did.

I don't really know how to say it. The GC Animal crossing holds such a nostalgic feel for me, I don't think it can ever be topped. Not by Wild World, not by City Folk.

That being said, I don't really think Wild World was dissapointing. 'Just didn't have the feel.

You may think it's a dissapointment, but in my opinion, that's the game that got me into the series, and it's pretty good.

Well, some features from GC will be returned into CF

@Grawr: You must be an AC fan since 2001, correct? Cuz you feel that GC is the best of them all, and you ahve to admit, GC is pretty good

I agree that the Gamecube Animal Crossing was good, but in my opinion, I enjoyed Wild World just as much, if not more. Kolvo has a good list there as to why I enjoyed it more actually. And I like the portability as well.

Right now I'm stuck between the two. ACGCN will always be one of my favorite games but WW added tons of great new features. Unfortunately it also took out lots of great stuff. Hopefully CF can strike a balance between the two.

Haha we seem to have the exact same opinion Koehler :p But yeah, if City Folk has a happy medium, it could very well be an excellent game.

I have been been playing Animal Crossing since 2001 as well. And yeah what Grawr said, WW didn't have the same feel. GC AC will always be better. But WW was still almost as good as the original. It had a lot of things I liked. But yeah, didn't have everything I liked from the original. But as someone was saying, I do think they have tried to have a happy medium between the two. Which would be AWESOME. ^_^

I hope CF is that happy medium.

For me, the fact fact that Wisp is back is just awesome.

Yea i like the gc version better because its what got me into the series. But ACWW wasnt a dissappointment for me, I actually enjoyed it alot (mostly because of wi-fi) but also other new features that they added. Hopefully for us City Folk will be creative like the acww version and with the holidays like the GC version ^_^

wisp is back??? that just made my day

I was extreamly dissapointed by Wild World. They made everything perfect in AC:GC so you'd expect that the same would be with WW; but with some more content. Well as it turns out mostly everything turned out to be worse:

Music
Jobs
Fishing
Bug Hunting
House Upgrades (They were always the same thing)
Holidays
No Reward for paying off Debt (Statue)
Police Station, Post Office, Wishing Well Removed
Less Neighbors

The only true improvment I can see from WW is that it had a way better travling system.

I really think that AC:WW could have been better. Like SERIOUSLY!!! No favors for the neighbours?! C'mon! What else are we gonna do? You expect us to spend all day walking back and forth looking for bugs! Seriously! Without more variation it gets boring! And the holdays make them fun, and what ever happened to the calender and journal! I don't like the fact of there only being one house, though that's what make sense, for a DS, 4 individual houses is more space for each person. The town is way to small with the rolling world action, and there are to little neighbors! This game really dissapointed me. It's boring, all it does to me is sit in my DS and it wasted me a good $40 I could of had to buy a flat iron! Oh well, I'll just get my boy friend to buy me one. :llama:

WHOA! That brought up a question... Are they or arn't they putting the calender/journal in AC:CF?
