Disappearing Presents!

Yesterday I went around to some of the "model houses" through Streetpass I believe, and I ordered about 4 things from one of the cataloges, anyway, just a few minutes ago I got back onto ACNL and saw I got some mail! I put the things I ordered (presents) in my pocket from the letters, before I knew it, the little unopened presents disappeared from my pocket. Any ideas about what to do? I could try saving and turning it back on..

weird. maybe quit without saving, and start over re getting your mail...

ACNL stuff should be in the New Leaf section, but hey, this works too. Make sure you didn't do weird saving stuff, putting the items back into the letters or sold them? Stuff doesn't usually just disappear.
