distrubuted villagers, apparently?

Just now, I was randomly reading the Nookipedia page regarding the full list of villagers, and apparently, there have been 6 'distributed' villagers via Nintendo DS download stations in the past, which I didn't even know since I only played Wild World for one whole year starting from 2009, aka 2 years after the end of those download possibilities.
Does any of you know who those villagers were/are? Perhaps I may recognise (some of) them, if they made it past Wild World, too, that is.

The distributed villagers were the 6 monkeys that were in Wild World! So without hacking now they are lost to time

Luckily they (mostly) return in later games

I forget all of their names, but the most interesting one to me is Champ, since he no longer appears after AC New Leaf (probably due to looking almost exactly like the train station monkey)

The distributed monkeys in wild world are:
