So, with all the DIY Recipes there are, you never know if you'll find a new one. Here's a place to share some ideas for a DIY Recipe you'd like to see added to the game at some point. One that I always wanted to see is a tire swing, something that's not as bland as what we already craft out of garbage. I'd personally make it use some hardwood, iron nuggets, and of course, an old tire. The hardwood would be for the frame that the swing is attached to, and the iron nuggets would make up the chains that connect the tire to the frame. And while I think this would be weird, it might not be a bad idea to make one that uses a hardwood tree, of course you'd have to dig up a tree in order to craft it into a tire swing, and if that were the way it is, the tree that turns into the tire swing would have to be programmed so that you can't shake it for bells, furniture, or bugs.

Reintroduce silver ore and have DIY for silver tools. The silver ax can chop special patterns on the stumps and all the tools have more durability. It wouldn't make sense with gold being 2x, but they need unbreakable tools. And we could maybe get a more special ore to make platinum tools that can't break.
id want to say them add in more playground type diys, like a swing set, or a big swirly slide, maybe even a sand pit!
i know the beach basically has sand so why a sandpit, but that didn’t stop the beaches near my house to add a sandpit in their playground so i think it kind of makes sense. they already have an elephant item too, but it’s too boring really. it’s so small and just not intriguing.
nonetheless, i want more fun and interactive diy items! that way, we’ll enjoy them more! it’s no fun when the items just sit there and you can’t really do anything but look at them. hopefully they’ll implement some type of interactive diy items into the game so we can enjoy our island to the fullest. i love bright colours so hope they have more things that really pop and stand out!

Well, while there is no sand pit recipe, there is a sandbox available from trading in Nook Miles for it
i completely forgot about that! though i did imagine a sandpit would be much bigger, which is why i suggested it. imagine seeing a small sandbox with a big swing set and big slide haha, that’s why im thinking if it were enlargened it’d be much better!
I agree with the white fence thing, although I personally think it would be easier to make certain types of fencing able to be customized with different colors of paint on the wood

these are some great ideas, guys! i’d personally be interested in some more arches as i’m not super into the ones that we currently have aha. i’d especially love to see the flower arch from new leaf (that would maybe use pink roses, red roses and weeds to craft?) + the illuminated arch from new leaf that could be crafted with ornaments! additionally, even though the holiday season and winter is now over, i would’ve loved some festive fencing of sorts. maybe one with red bows and lights that could’ve used iron nuggets and ornaments to craft?

I would also like to get our fruit baskets back. We have the one with mixed fruit, but I miss having just a basket of Apples or oranges, etc.
Also, remember how the flowers looked in New Leaf when you displayed them? Some were in different pot variations and the pansies were in a cute basket. I would be thrilled to have diy's of those.

Wall mounted mirror, wall mounted picture frame, flower arch, cherry blossom arch, a bed with a cute and modern look that lets you customize the bedding, wall mounted shelves that let us place items on them, potted flowers, customizable fences, rugs that work as paths and can be placed outside.

Honestly because how tedious crafting is in this game I would rather buy items from the nook shopping app than craft so much furniture.

It's difficult for me to find ideas for diy receipes, but I can try!
Some banners, maybe: I see the 24h shop banner from NL but we can find another ones more 'traditionnal' and natural! And after that, I think of a pan of Polish culture: you have wings as bag in this game, why not the wings of the famous winged-hussards?
I think it could be very nice if we can create aquariums and place to put bugs looking good with different sizes. For example, an aquarium where you can put 3 little fishs, another one big fish... gold fish has his own aquarium but others look pretty ugly.
It's me or the medical items are missing? Idk if it's a good idea to craft them as they are not 'natural' but I put this just in case here.
I want to craft the alpine collection as well. I know we have one pretty similar but it's not exactly the same, right?

Like previous posts, I’d love a cooking mechanic. Not anything big, just crafting with ingredients. Then you could drop them off to your villagers for a healthy amount of friendship points.
