So I just opened the campsite for Project K and the first villager to arrive is Eugene, which isn't my first pick of villagers to live on my island. Do I HAVE to let him stay to continue the story?

Not sure if this info will help but I feel that different players have encountered different scenarios
I had 3 villagers move in before completing my campsite
I invited Big Top from island 1
I invited Bea from island 2
Then, Bea moved in (first and into plot 1) then Big Top moved in 2nd into Plot 3 and finally Bubbles moved in, and into plot 2, so something odd is definitely happening
I also saw that my friend had someone stuck in their campsite and the dialogue was "yes" or "yes" to them moving in and they just turned off the game LOL

Wow, that's bs. I got chops and he is literally the worst villager ever. It's disgusting that they keep shoehorning us into playing precisely how they want to play... Why can't we just have different villagers come camp each day? Honestly as time goes by, the most I'm
