Only if you booyah for your team mate's booyah bombs! Other than that, they can't see your booyahs.
I usually booyah a lot in a game, like at the beginning of a match or if my team mate does something good. I'll also booyah if I trade/die and no one is around me. I booyah when my friend on the other team kills me even though they can't see it
In SR I'll booyah if I see people lure/do common SR strats to encourage them hopefully, and during goldie seeking.That's good to know. I indiscriminately booyah as much as possible for bombs, but I guess I now know why I die so quickly afterwards.Only if you booyah for your team mate's booyah bombs! Ohhh, I definitely booyah back whenever I can. However, I didn't know that the opponent couldn't see your booyah's back which makes all my anxiety regarding the booyah go away. I definitely would be using this for now on.
The opposite problem to mine. haha. My ignorance gave me no fear.

I booyah a lot, it's great. First thing I always do on a match is to booyah at my teammates and I get sad when they don't booyah back 
I also booyah when they make some nice plays or splat the opponent that just splatted me and when they rescue me on Salmon Run.

I personally never initiates booyahs at the beginning of a match, but if someone on my teams starts it, I'll go along with it. However, if my team continually booyahs (or "ouch", or "this way") throughout the match without reason, it drives me mad and I will literally put my game on mute.
For non-beginning of match booyahs; I, like rollingantony, will booyah if I notice high skill splats/revenge splats/ teammates saving my jump points.
I'll always charge my team's booyah bombs except when I'm in a 1v1 engagement situation.
I also tend to use booyah when I notice my team has wiped or almost wiped the opponent team/interchanged with "this way" if I'm towards the front of the push if that makes sense.
And lastly, I'll booyah like a second before match end if I notice we'll definitely win or definitely lose.

i always try to booyah back and i love booyah-ing at the start of every match! i worry sometimes i get a lil overboard with it and i gotta catch myself so it doesn't get annoying. it's fun to give a celebratory booyah after someone saves me from being killed, we work together to kill an enemy, they protect my superjump, they utilize a special really well, and so on... :D it feels like we are truly a TEAM
