I dont, actually. Sometimes i just move them in with almost no furniture just to unlock their special items. I feel super lazy, lol, and am wondering if I am not alone. :)

Yes, I don't see the point of playing the game if you don't at least try

Even if it's a villager I could simply care less about. I still at least try to decorate their house as best as I can. It just feels like a waste of time to just do it for furniture.

I'm pretty lazy myself and even I refuse to just throw some furniture in a room and call it a day.

Uh oh, i'm in the minority... I decorate the ones i like but am less careful with the ones i dont like that much.

If a villager has a theme and required items that I really don't like, I'll open their boxes and leave, with the intent of coming back later and making something more interesting. Sometimes I forget to go back, though, but I WILL EVENTUALLY I PROMISE. probably.

Agreed! Ditto this!

Nah, some villagers I just can't care for or if their theme really bugs me, like anything to do with coffee shops or studies and I don't see how it's a problem.. I can always go back if I suddenly get inspired with a better idea. Only Gabi has gotten the literally unpacked her items and left treatment but it's kind of her fault really, she literally had no items lol..I'll do something for her someday. :p

I don't always decorate either lol I do the ones I like but think I can always go back and do the others properly at a later date.

I did on most of them, but I decided to skip Alfonso and come back to it later. I felt so bad that I gave him a full three-room mansion with mario-themed goodies. :/

depends on my mood :p
i am doing my favorite super cute and spend alot of time on it!
But the others i might just trow together quickly.
When i do get the chance to enjoy the game then i spend alot of time on the peoples room no matter what villager it is.

hahaha, noooope. sometimes i just open the boxes and claim to be finished. or give them a really silly joke home. i just want to unlock their furniture and possibly go back and do them properly later. won't waste my time on something i'm not really into doing.

When I start up the game, I make sure I'm in the mood to play, and I only do one or two houses a play session. That way I know I've done my best.
The only villager I've given the open-boxes and walk-out-the-door treatment to is Pietro, because I just hate clowns, and I don't like looking at him. Period.

Same!

I try not to, lol. If i'm not feeling any inspiration or anything from it then I won't.

I usually try to do it to the best of my ability, but there are some themes I just don't want to do. I feel bad just opening the boxes and leaving, so I put in all the things according to the theme (with the little button in the top right-hand corner idk) and organise it in a way that makes sense then leave.

When I did Goldie's library house, I had the best time and it's one of the ones I'm proudest of.

No, some villager's house requests I don't get and some I don't know what items to exactly use. So I have a hard time with that.

Yeah, some I don't know what items to use either. I just take a guess at a few and put like half of an effort into it.

I am doing the same thing, did not start out that way.....but now that is how I am doing it, once I unlock them all then I will go back and decorate with a full catalog.
