Do you diligently decorate every single villagers home?

yes, i diligently decorate every villager's home
although i prefer some villagers over others, i try my best to decorate every villager's home. when i'm not feeling a home request on a certain day, i put my 3ds to sleep mode and come back to it another day :)

I dont, actually. Sometimes i just move them in with almost no furniture just to unlock their special items. I feel super lazy, lol, and am wondering if I am not alone. :)

I plan on it eventually, but I admit that I was in a hurry to unlock the items that some villagers I'd just open the cardboard boxes and that's that. ><. Yeah, I do feel stupid and embarrassed that I did that; but fortunately most of the villagers, I did try my best to design their houses even the first time around. I always do better when I go back to remodel them ~ that's also when I usually get my ideas; when I go back to remodel their houses, that's when I'll look up online (depending on how late it is), information, places to base my design on. There were a few that I would look up information and layout ideas when I started designing their house for the very first time ~ one being Ankha. When designing Ankha's house, I looked up to see what type of lighting that were used ~ to ensure some historical accuracy or make an attempt at it (her house ended up not looking very good regardless since I was still busy unlocking items).

What I'm doing for most of their houses is sticking to the theme they originally gave, until I think of something better; though, some of the requests, even when I looked it up online what a room (like a spa room or a chiropractor's room or a recording studio) looked like, I'd still be stuck on making the furniture that's in the game work with the theme.

Now, I could probably be done with all of the clients (there are a handful more or so to go), but now, I'm trying to think of some good ideas before choosing a client; then again, I'm remodeling now and not paying attention to the ones that I haven't done (or unpacked their furniture at the very least) yet.

I only decorate diligently if I like the theme the villager is going for, and if the design I'm thinking of is possible with the items I currently have. Otherwise, I just unpack the items and go.

I'm the kind that tends to do a lot of research for the design, and I can't find the energy to do that if I don't like the theme. I do intend to get back to them after I get more items though.

I do actually otherwise I see no other point to the game. I don't even have a reader for my 3ds or ambiio cards, so yeah. I'm not sure if they're worth it, or will enhance gameplay but either way I do enjoy the game to the fullest. QUESTION! Do they still have seasonal / holiday themed options for play? Like christmas and halloween?

I try to. However, there are some villagers that have a very limited variety of furniture. Like Tangy, for example. In those instances I usually just plop down all of the available pieces (that can fit in the room) and call it a day!

I have to say, I am much more invested in decorating the town buildings!

I try to do my best. The only time I opened all the boxes and quit was when I downloaded Louie at the McDonalds. I didn't have time to decorate it. Went back and fixed when that part got unlocked.

Some still need pieces of furniture unlocked and the top floor unlocked to make it a better house.

I try ridiculously hard, even with villagers I hate. I think it makes it more fun. With villagers I like, I'm even worse. I'll sit there for like an hour & a half until its perfect (and then redo it later when I have better stuff). The only time where I'm like eh, is when I don't like the theme or something.

I have done about 100 homes. Villagers and events characters combined. But, in seeing the value of those Amiibo cards (to be able to summon a character for a decorating job or to come visit a house), I am thinking I should cut back on game-playing time a bit to help pass the time for the releases of Series 2, Series 3, and Series 4 "Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer" Amiibo cards. At this point, I have 11 packages of the Series 1 cards. A few repeats are included. And I can be patient.

It depends, sometimes I will not decorate their home with the intention of coming back to it later on. Sometimes if I really dislike the particular villager I don't try.

But I give most of them a decent try. I often feel like I don't have enough items to complete the looks, but I try.

I always have a go at designing something for every villager, otherwise I don't feel I'm playing.
I am slowly going back to some and making 'better'.
The only time I had to just open the boxes was with Filly who was a NZ download in Game stores (in the UK). Had to wait till I was home, it wasn't practical to do in a small crowded store.

haha NO! I kinda just designed maybe ten that I really liked the theme on, or were villagers I really liked, then I just cruised through the rest to unlock all the furniture. To my credit though I did try to pick home locations and exteriors that I wanted to use so when I come back to redesign them I'll just be able to do a remodel instead of have to redo the entire thing...
I did get through the entire villager list though... and haven't really gone back to the game since. I probably should have just taken my time and designed things more slowly the first go through, but I really wanted to have all the furniture at my disposal... it was a learning experience...

I do their houses quite quick to get some furniture but others I like to try hard at like feline I made it look like a nice jungle

Why would you spend money on a game and then not actually play it? I guess I don't really understand why people would want to just "unlock the furniture" if your not really even going to use it except in 1 or 2 houses of villagers you care for. To each their own I suppose!! :p

yes but depending on the theme i'll put a lot more effort into some homes than others, once i've completed all villager homes and collected all the unlockable furniture i plan on going back and completing the houses i'm not happy with! personally i'd find it hard to skip through villagers that i didn't really want to design for but i understand why people do it

Well, I try to do as best as everyone else can at HHD, but y'know I kind of suck and everyone else is better than me XD

I try to most of the time, but sometimes I get annoyed by some repetitive request or some request I can't really do well due to certain furniture still not unlocked yet, so I don't try very hard then.

I plan to go back and redo pretty much all buildings and houses once I unlock everything. I'm unhappy with most of them just due to missing certain things.
