I've seen a lot of threads talking about how ugly certain villagers are, but what about disturbing villagers? Maybe they aren't necessarily ugly, but something about their appearance unsettles you.

For me, it's Lucky and Raddle, or at least at first. They've grown on me over time, but their medical accessories combined with their dark color palette remind me of hospital horror movie tropes haha.

What about you?

hhhng maybe pietro? he’s not awful or anything but the whole clown-look scares me a bit lol - he’s unique, though, so he gets props for that!

That's fair! I've heard a lot of people would rather not want Pietro in their town or island because of his clown get-up and I can understand that. Like you said though, he's really unique for being one of the few, if not only, villagers out there to be clown/circus-themed, so that's something!

Boots. His eyes are always looking up, even when he's talking to you, and it creeps me out. It makes him look possessed. And in New Horizons, he's wearing a jester costume which makes him slightly more unsettling somehow.

I also find his eyes really uncanny. I saw him once in NH when I was island hopping and I thought he was just looking at something. The fact that his eyes stay put is so weird, and it doesn't help that he can't close his eyes (or at least I've never seen them shut).

He's always running around like a kid with him arms out on my island, trying to pretend to be innocent. I'm not buying it. He looks like he could snap at any moment.

chow the panda is horrifying, especially at night. i had him in new leaf when i was younger and i wouldn't play at night because of him. some people may like him, but i just find his eyes and colours just so creepy and strange.

Oh man, I can imagine. When villagers run around, it's cute and all, but the thought of Boots doing it is far from cute.

I can understand that. I didn't want him in my town for a while the same reason. I've only seen screenshots in him, but that was enough for me to never want to see him in-game lol. I don't know why, but villagers with oddly-shaped eyes make me so uncomfortable...
Moose looks like such a creep with his nasty dreamworks smirk lol
Yeah, I agree. I guess you could call his smirk "unique," for lack of a better word, but that combined with his raised eyebrows come off as (feel free to call this a reach lol) very untrustworthy.
not a villager but bianca used to unsettle me greatly in wild world.
I can understand that. A faceless cat is scary enough, and being able to simply draw her a new face doesn't help much for the creepy factor.

I get it with Lucky and Rattle, but the one that really gets to me is Gruff... He's not creepy or anything, it's just.... the green. Who chose that shade of green for him? It's the worst shade of green I've ever seen, it's like they decided to make his whole color palette exclusively with colors that don't go together.

He's the only one that would actually freak me out to see walking around the town.

Cesar and Rasher are the unsettling ones. I had Cesar as my first 3 villagers in WW and his body shape and face makes me uncomfortable, thank goodness he moved out yesterday. And Rasher was my 9th move in my NL town, he freaked me out on occasions and I couldn’t get over it actually, he did move out though and I was relieved.

nibbles. especially in the older games.
something about her just...makes my skin crawl and I can't look at her for long

Chow and Peck. Chow has always been creepy when he was in my towns, and Peck's eyes are completely white.

The villager I have at my campsite today: Sparro. I walked inside the tent and noped right out. I think it’s his eyes that bothered me.

Coco and All of the lions in the game, something about them makes me not like them

Chow just looks so unsettling to me, all the colors are very mixed which makes him look very ugly and on top of that, his smile and facial expressions look so unsettling, creepy and weird to me. The mole on his eye doesn't help either and his light red skin looks very odd and a little scary on a panda that's not even a red panda...

Dora the white mouse, i don't like mouses villagers in general and in Wild World she influenced all my villagers to call me "Crazy A".
