Do you find the WVCC thread useful?

All of yah guys are wrong. Infinity Dragon, if you life doing it keep on doing it for your friends like Bul that you know enjoy it.

This really isn't the forum to have it though. As Mino said this is basically a North America forum. Try to find a European Nintendo forum/website and I'm sure they'd appreciate it much more than anyone here would.
I thought we already established this... the releases for Europe and Japan are usually an indicator of what games the US will get.
Not every game in Japan goes over to the US

Mother series anyone?

I don't care as to what might come here in the future. I care about what is here today and now.
Well, VC aficionados like myself like to know what's out there... and actually, Earthbound might be headed here soon.

-_-
Around the world is now, and it has just the NA if that's a problem. It's here and now.

You need to rephrase that if you want me to understand.

It has info for North America. You do live in NA right?

How does game releases in Japan give info on NA? You can and probably will say it shows us what games are coming here but plenty of games there stay there.

To reinforce my point. The only one who posted in that thread was you ID.

|sf>Just because we don't post, that doesn't mean that we don't read the thread. I do check WVCC thread a bit, although I don't always view it at the Bell Tree. It does give me hope as to which games might be coming, as well as which companies could possible release games onto VC. It is especially helpful on N64 titles. I don't usually comment on the list though, because I would rather submit discussion within actual subtopics. I also don't see the connection of having it on a European forum.

If ID wants a way to improve it though, I'd recommend that he combines Europe and Australia into one list, with brackets that mention whether a release is Europe, Australia, or both. Europe and Australia's titles are almost always identical, so listing them separately is a waste of space.

It being on a European from would serve the purpose of actually helping someone. Not being nice to look at it every now and then.

Also, I believe my point to be is that this isn't the forum to do it. You yourself don't view it here. Where you do it probably fits better.

Here it doesn't.

However, if it is not to much of a both coming here to update that thread then he can do whatever he wants to do.

Prop, I'm telling ya -- this would NOT be more useful in a Euro forum. For casual VCers, maybe it's not useful... but for people who are really into it, it's always very interesting to see the trends and see which country is getting what.

If it is helpful for the US how would it not be helpful for them?

Anyways, I got a bright idea and actually read the first 7 pages and like it. I actually think it should get it's own section to the sight in addition of Bul's.

Never said it's not helpful for them. I said it's not necessarily MORE helpful for them.

That's a great idea, actually. Having this on the site would be awesome. What say you, Infinity?

It's called the gamers' lounge. Infinity has GL access as far as I know. Let him post that stuff.

He doesn't, and I don't know if it'd be a good idea on the Gamers' Lounge. It might be better as a static page... I could give him access to edit just that one portion... I think.

If it'll end up being too difficult, then yeah, GL access would be the way to go.

I'm well aware of this, Prop-man. That's why I made this thread. People may say that I should pay attention to the number of views instead of the number of replies, but when you end up posting more than 5 updates without getting a single reply, you start thinking that no one is actually paying attention to the thread.

I think that the problem is not that this is a forum mostly populated by North American gamers, the problem is that there is not much interest in the VC here. We already know this since the very first day that the group of VC-Nsiders came here (after those forums were closed). Just looking at the list you made, all of them except for Odd are from that group, and I guess they read this info at Nsider2, where I also post this thread.

I still wanted to know if there were people here (that didn't post at Nsider2) that were interested in this information. And given the responses to this thread, I think there are, although not as many as I would like, but there are. That's why I'll continue posting the thread, at least for now.

Actually, I had them together at the beginning, but the release of Axelay/Probotector II made me change my mind. And not only that, after I decided to complete the archives, I knew that I had made the correct decision, since the releases for Europe/Australia were quite different for the first half of the year (well, basically because of the TG16 releases). Although it consumes more space, I think it's more organized.

I actually had a short talk with Storm regarding this same topic, a while ago. We haven't decided anything yet, though. I'll let you know if there are any news.
