Do you guys have a smug villager who waves with both hands?

My Marshal waves with one hand.
My Raymond waves with two.
Tbh I want it switched. I wanna see tiny marshal’s stubby paws wave at me with two hands
Raymond waving with one hand would match more for me

I think it make sense for Raymond to wave more enthusiastically! He's actually very energetic dialog-wise.
Marshal is more of like an introvert and reserved? If you know what I mean. BUT HIM WAVING WITH BOTH HANDS WOULD BE ADORABLE!

I've had Eugine, Marshal, and Zell so far and from what I recall they all waved with one hand.

Hello, I have three smugs. Jacques, Marshal and Raymond. And so far, only Raymond waves with both hands and neither the two.
Do you have any smugs that happen to wave with both hands? I wish to know for science.

* O'Hare
* Raymond
* Kidd

I had Zell and currently have Marshal. Neither waved with both hands. I actually thought Raymond was the only smug villager to wave like that.

It depends on the subtype of same personality. Smug A waves with one hand while Smug B waves with both.
only 5 out of 34 belong to Smug B btw

Yeah I really really really wished that Marshal waved with both arms that would made him even more adorable and precious but he only wave with one arm and I’m sad but I have to accept that. The only smugs that wave with both arms are Raymond, O’Hare, Kidd, Ed, and Curlos. I wish there were more.

Here is the subtype breakdown for smug: 'Smug A' wave with one hand because their social level is 'Medium', 'Smug B' wave with both hands because their social level is 'high'

I wonder if people will still find it cute now they know Curlos does this haha. I do actually love Curlos, he was one of my favourites in NL, strutting around in the snow in just a scarf, but kept seeing him getting rated low at one point.

It's determined by the villager's social level. Only 5 smug villagers wave with both hands, but all jocks and peppy villagers wave with both hands.

There's also a third type of wave called the "royal wave" only some cranky and snooty villagers do (many cranky and snooty villagers have the normal one-handed wave, though).
