Just curious. :) I know some people have Mother's Day in March, so if you are a March person, you can talk about what you did this year. :)

My grandparents and my uncle are coming over around lunchtime and we will have burgers, hotdogs, and ice cream. I love having family cookouts :,,,,,)

My mom doesn't live with us anymore, her and my dad separated back in April 2019, so I will just give her some Mother's Day wishes.

I don’t have anything planned. It’s just another regular day for me. It’s that way with most holidays. They’re just like every other day.

My mom wants to celebrate Mother's Day a little later than usual this year, because she wants to get Subnautica: Below Zero! She's waiting for the full release and plans to spend next weekend playing it. I'll probably still try and do a little extra to help around tomorrow and make things easier on her, but she likes her celebrations to be very chill and relaxed, so I'll keep it lowkey.

I’m taking my mom to go buy some flowers to plant. She enjoys it a lot, and I enjoy seeing her happy!

nothing much, my mother asked me to get her a flower to plant as well. tbh we don't get along that great, but we're trying i guess... I'd make her a card or something else more creative and caring, but im terrified she'll hate it lol

hope everyone else has a great time celebrating with their mother<3

I just called my mom and talked to her on the phone today. This is my mom's first Mother's Day since my dad passed away, so I was worried about her being alone. I was going to suggest maybe visiting her or taking her out if she wanted, but she told me she'd already turned down dinner at my aunt's because of a terrible toothache. She wasn't feeling up to much so we just talked for an hour and a half. She seemed happy that I called, though, and in relatively good spirits.

I painted my mom a sign with flowers on it for her garden. And then I asked my boyfriend's mom what she wanted for mothers day and she legitimately replied with a turkey bacon club sandwich. I was like really? You don't want something else? And she said no, so we got her a turkey bacon club lmao.

This year has been the first time that I've ever been away from my mum for mother's day, so it was kinda hard for both of us to process it emotionally. I managed to get her a flower plant gift box delivered to her and we had a wee video call catch up.

I'm incredibly fortunate to have a good relationship with my mom and still live with her. I asked her what she wants and it looks like once things are looking safer, we'll go on a shopping trip!

nah. my sisters got gifts and that's it anyways its work day so not much we can do.

We don't really celebrate holidays at home. We used to when my grand-parents were still alive but not anymore. It was just an ordinary day.
