What kind of meal do you have for Thanksgiving?

My family is huge and we always have a potluck so there's always many options to choose from. There's always turkey and ham for mains. Mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, corn, devilled eggs and green beans/ green bean casserole for sides. Pumpkin pie, apple pie, usually a cheesecake or two, or an assortment of cookies for dessert. And that's just what I can guarantee🙈 there's usually a variety of other things too like sometimes someone makes cheesy potato casserole or corn bread. And I've made chocolates, stuffing and cupcakes before in the past. As you can probably guess, Thanksgiving is a favorite holiday of mine😆. My favorite dishes tho are turkey, stuffing, mac and cheese and corn bread!

It varies year by year. When my aunt was still married to that piece of **** guy, she’d cook a pretty typical Thanksgiving dinner with turkey, stuffing, corn, etc. After the divorce she started making lasagna and started to branch out more with her cooking, an has made some extra yummy stuff like greek-style potatoes and Doritos casserole. My mom made it one year as well, and it was good. I don’t remember much from that year, but it probably included her yummy green bean casserole!

Barring anything else, the two things a Thanksgiving has to have for me are turkey and mashed potatoes with gravy. If either of those things is not present, I'm afraid I won't be either! 😔

For thanksgiving my family usually makes turkey, stuffing, gravy and mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, rolls, cranberry sauce, and some deviled eggs.

So it's Thanksgiving tomorrow for us Canadian but many have the Thanksgiving dinner today. My family usually doesn't do anything for Thanksgiving but this year we are having turkey, mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce, I guess we will have peas as well. Nothing too elaborated but it's better than the ordinary leftovers we usually have.

Nothing special, just turkey and ham and mashed potatoes. :9 And probably some Filipino cuisine since I'm Filipino-American.

When my parents or close relatives hosted we'd have turkey, corn (either cream or sweet), green beans or carrots, gravy, mashed potatos, stuffing, pumpkin pie, and sometimes other things. I'd always just have the sides and no meat which I was teased for, but meat always gave me the ick. Surprise, always wanted to be vegetarian and I'm now for yearsss lol.

P.S. Love your aesthetic @Chere. go off queen. ✨
