The guide really doesn't help you "beat" it, but it's great to see everything in the game.

(The reason it doesn't help you do better in the game is because it's not a walkthrough, like an RPG would for example.)

I'm not sure, maybe I should experiment with that. My guess is that the month goes back to January, but the year doesn't change. I'll have to find out.
