I’m curious if anyone remembers their two starters and the three randoms we had to build empty plots for.
My two starters were Goose and Cherry.
My three plots were Lily, Sherb, and someone else that I forget. I loved both Sherb and Lily for the time they were on my island.
Who were your first five villagers and what did you think of them?
Diva and Iggly were my two starters. Broccolo, Gabi, and Olive were my first three plots.
I was excited that Iggly was a starter because he was one of my starting five in New Leaf. Gabi and Olive are cute. Diva and Broccolo I didn't really get too friendly with.
None of these five live on my island anymore.
my starters were Agnes and Drift & my three tutorial villagers were Alice, Ruby, & Sherb! out of all of them, the only one i still have is Sherb............
My starters were Tank, Rocket, Nate, Fauna, and Tutu. Tank is the only one I still have on my island and I’m never letting him move out.
on my second island my starters were Reneigh, Hamlet, Cole, Olive, and Winnie. Only Reneigh and Hamlet have moved out. I want to eventually let Olive leave, but I’m not ready yet.
My starter villagers were Curly, Phoebe, Puddles, Beau, and Aurora. Of these, only Phoebe and Beau have left. I know people don’t have much love for Curly and Puddles, but I think they are fine, and Aurora is the sweetest penguin around.
Loved both of them, still think about bringing Shari back sometimes, as she is just adorable and gives me a different impression than some of the other uchi villagers. I knew nothing about the game or villagers really when I started, and so they will always be kind of special to me.
my next three were not random, I island hopped for them, though I had few tickets and still did not know much about the game:
Rex
Bangle
Vesta
when they moved in I was most excited about best and most ambivalent about bangle, but ended up not clicking with Vesta and coming to love Bangle - who still lives on my island!
Rex, looking back I felt like I needed to hurry and get ‘favorites’ to my island back then, but now that I know that it is pretty easy to get villagers to come and go I might have had him stay longer, and still am thinking of inviting him to my second island, because he is so cute and sweet.
my two starters were deirdre and hamlet, and the latter took forever to leave. my three "randoms" were vesta, wendy and biskit, and the latter still lives on my island in the exact same spot to this day.
My starting Jock and Sisterly villagers were Snake and Ursala. I earned their pictures and got rid of them shortly thereafter.
My Lazy, Normal, and Peppy residents were Tucker, Annalisa, and Bella. I specifically chose them from the Nook Miles Islands rather than let the game give me randoms because I knew that I wanted all three to be permanent residents. Granted, I wasn't aware at the time that those three would get generic houses as well, I thought it was just the initial Jock and Sisterly. They're all still on my island. I might replace Annalisa eventually but I'm not sure, and I might kick out Tucker and Bella and then scan them back in via amiibo to get their proper houses, but also might not bother with that. Not really concerned either way at this point.
For my first island Serenity my two starters were Buck and Flo. I still have Flo and she will never leave, the first three I invited were Alfonso, Margie and Piper. I don’t have any of them still on my island. I liked them all and sometimes miss Piper and Alfonso.
My second island Jurai my starter villagers were Axel and Canberra both of them have left. the first two villages I invited were Skye and Sprinkle both of them are still here but will eventually go to my first island. My 5th villager was a random move in Rodeo. I liked him more then I thought I would. He has moved away.
