Do you think finding dory would hit 1billion box office?

For sure it is one of those movies kids will see more then once and its good enough for adults to enjoy as well so 1bil is easy to see it getting to
After dvd maybe close to 1.5 2bil. Pixar and Dreamworks have done a awesome job of making films that kids and Adults like.

To this Day Toy Story is still one of my fav movies of all time and unlike movies that fade over time it holds up even today.
movies like Kung Fu Panda And How to Train Dragon are even 1 more example of the awesomeness that is Dreamworks.
Walle and Brave are awesome also.

Finding Dory is undeniably better than finding Nemo. Dory's background story is more complete than nemo's and the ending was great *** (don't want to spoil it)
I think I billion is definitely doable and possible for pixir. The only movie I actually dislike from them is the good dinosaur. It's so bad that I thought it was made by dream works or Disney fail.

the ending was OBVIOUS and even though dory's backstory was amazing they just left all the other characters feeling really plain

Hank for example

Yes I agree with that, I wish they would expend more with hank but overall I think it's better than finding Nemo. Not the best within pixir's movie but it's pixir's average grade

Definitely. There's a lot of older people who originally saw Finding Nemo, and then the newer children who thought it'd be a cute movie to watch. So many circumstances, and I just know it will hit it.

i think it'll probably make around 700 mil
or really super close to 1 bil but wont actually hit it

I really doubt it. At least not in the box office. Maybe after DVD sells and merchandise sells but not box office alone since the hype is already dying down and they are only half way there.

What do you mean only 2 other movies have made it to the one billion dollar box office? Do you mean only 2 other Disney movies? There are a total of 26 movies that have made over $1 billion dollars in the box office. And if you are only including Disney, Alice in the Wonderland made over $1 billion. So did Pirates of the Carribean.

the entire nemo "franchise" is mainstream so it really wont be surprising if it does, i wont be watching it, that is, until i find a way to watch it for free :^)

It's that big a deal? O.O I mean I'm excited but wow.

it is a big deal. people was hoping for a sequel for a decade and it finally happened! not to mention finding nemo was very good so finding dory will gonna be good too.

I apologize for bring up a thread that is almost a half year old, but I am here to inform you that Finding Dory has, in fact, reached the 1 billion dollar box office milestone. It is currently at 1.021 billion.

I also wanted to say that I finally got to see the movie last week and I absolutely loved it! It was really heartwarming. There was a lot of scenes I wasn't expecting, which I don't want to mention because I want to keep this spoiler free.

If you haven't seen it yet, I totally recommend that you do. It was added to amazon (that's how I saw it) just a week and a half ago, if you don't want to go to a theater.

I am so happy about this news. The film teaches kids about the value of aquatic life, and turns hunters into antagonists and people to be considered the enemy. It makes me so happy that a film with such a positive, animal-supportive message has gotten across to so many people. Thanks for making a difference, Pixar.

with all the little kids seeing that ****??? probs
jk it's a good movie tbh i loved finding nemo as a kid

Really? I thought the movie was quite a letdown actually. Maybe because I loved Finding Nemo so much but I feel like it dedicated too much of the plot to reusing Finding Nemo jokes and not actually for it's own plot. I found the second half of the film much more enjoyable than the first. With that said, the animation was great and it was a cute.

I have mix feelings on this subject so i'm not sure to be honest. I hope so, i really do but i'm not sure.
