They have not done a good job stocking them, and they sell on eBay for like $20 a pack minimum from what I've seen. I'm hoping that they can release more so that we can experience more through the cafe and Happy Home Paradise.
Yeah, I think the new amiibo features within The Roost and HHP are evidence Nintendo is recommitted to the cards. The only ones I am unsure about are the Welcome Amiibo RV cards. For whatever reason, they’ve held off on reprinting those so far.
They’ve re-released the original cards, except welcome amiibo a few times since last year. Each time they’ve been in stock in target for a few weeks (3-5) and available in store or orderable online.
I imagine they will continue to restock this way. Unlike the initial release of the Sanrio cards (which restocked recently too), at least where I am, they did not run out super fast and so it wasn’t hard to snag as many packs as I wanted.
I really hope they re-release the welcome amiibo too!
The other sets have already been rereleased, and I'm pretty sure that series 5 will be well stocked(or at least I hope so). I just wish they'd rerelease the Welcome Amiibo set. I'd love to get some for my friends, but they cost so much right now.
I think the Welcome Amiibo set in general also didn't get that big of a print run. Plus even more people seem to play AC post-NH release, so yeah... they REALLY need to re-release them. I personally never got any of the WA cards and don't think I ever saw them in stores locally.
i’m not sure, especially since they were rereleased recently, but i certainly hope so! i’m not sure what the situation’s like in other countries, but they’ve been sold out in canada for a few weeks now, so i’m definitely hoping that we’ll get more stock soon.
They should, but will they? Dunno. I hope they do.
I also hope they will be used in the next ac game and do a better job on accessibility for players. I know and try to remember there were interferences in production of products and shipping in alot of places at different times due to world events.
