Do you want the ability to transfer your character from New Leaf?

I'm not sure if you guys remember, but when City Folk/Let's Go to the City (depending on your region) came out, you could transfer your character from Wild World, meaning that your character would have its appearance transferred, but nothing else. Would you use it, either, if it was available?

It just seems unnecessary to me personally. I definitely want to keep my current New Leaf character's face, but I'm sure the information on how to obtain it will be easily obtainable. I suppose it would be useful if you didn't want to look the correct answers up, but I don't even know if they will bother with the face questions this game. They might just do it like HHD where they let you simply select your face.

I am thinking about choosing a different model anyhow, and that is not even counting the potential new faces. I likely would not use it for those reasons.

O gosh, that's a hard question! I am very attached to how my Mayor looks, but if there are new options for faces I might like those better. :/ I think it would boil down to how much I like the new options, because if I didn't like them I would definitely remake my Mayor to match how she looks in New Leaf now.

would I want it to be a thing? as long as it doesn't hinder the game moving forward or anything, sure

would I personally use it? nah. I prefer to keep all my new leaf charas in new leaf, and all my potential town name ideas don't line up with any of them

I definitely wouldn't use it if it were a feature. A completely fresh start is the only way I can play AC, or I'll lose interest.

I wouldn't be against having it, but I probably wouldn't use it myself. Still, if someone wanted to use it, it would be cool to have it.

Wouldn't mind it if there would be such a option. Not sure however if I would use it.
I actually like it more to build up my character from the beginning.

I would love for that to be an option! I remember you could do that in wild world and city folk, and it was fun to transfer my girls from town to town ^^. Not sure if I would use it, maybe on my second character, just for the fun of it!

I was just thinking, maybe if this was implemented, it would allow for villagers to give an extra line of dialogue about it. "I hear you used to live in a town called Fireleaf." Then they would give a short opinion about it, depending on that town's environment score. It would be an extra bit of detail that might be interesting to some players.

I think it'd be super sweet to have. I don't like the default character hair much and I'm big on how my character looks, so I'd love for a way to just copy the look from NL or even PC. I don't know if I would use it as I like to try to play each game blind for a little bit (as much as I possibly can) but it would be nice to have the option.

I wouldn?t mind having it, but it really depends on if they add more facial features or hairstyles or any other additions to the characters that they didn?t have before

Plus your New Leaf character is mayor! You can't go and move to a new town

I probably wouldn't use it. If there are new face style choices in the new game, I'm most likely going to pick one of them.

Personally, I want a fresh start for the new Animal Crossing game. But I would not be opposed to having this feature in case other players wanted to transfer their mayor. However, I would not use it.

It would be a nice feature, but if its just to transfer your character (I.E face, current clothes worn and hairstyle) and nothing else, I see no point in implementing it

Your catalog from Wild World was also transferred to City Folk I believe.
