Do you wish Isabelle, Tom Nook, Timmy & Tommy and Blathers had houses?

Like the villagers do

Because I’m like where do they live?

I’m not sure. I don’t think Isobelle or Tom Nook would ever be home. It would just be a house taking up space if I’m being honest. I’d be very interesting to see what’s in their houses though.

But a few of the buildings have stairs, and I always thpught they just lived upstairs. Like in Nook's Cranny

I think it would take up too much space on my island. And I just assumed they would sleep in the building upstairs in or the back.

But I would like to see night staff for resident services and day staff for the museum. That would be cool since blathers just sleeps stood up at the entrance and tom/ Isabelle never sleep

Yeah or see where they sleep & etc, even if it’s not houses

I always just assumed their houses or personal spaces were inside their original buildings. It makes me wonder what their rooms would look like. It’s an interesting thing to think about.

Although I would happily give up more space on my island for more villagers, I do not want to give up the limited space for houses for those npcs, and I don’t feel like it would add anything to my experience. And though it seems a bit callous maybe, additional interactions with them would be low on my priority list for things added to the game, but could be fun maybe if it did not add buildings. Maybe for Leif or Flick, I would be happy to give them some home space, but they are my favorite npcs (along with pascal, who already presumably already has an offshore home nearby)

Yes but only if their houses were on Harvey Island. There isn't enough space on the main island for their houses.
Lottie from ACNL could return with requests to clean up Harvey island, place their house and decorate them.

But, they all live in the places they're given. Ever seen the extra doors in their respective buildings? It's their room for them to sleep in, except Blathers, he sleeps while standing in the main part of the museum. Gotta get donations in the day time too.

No, they sleep on the floor, lol. Or underground like a fallout shelter.

Nope. I rather use the space for extra villagers than npcs. I have a huge list of villagers I’d like to have and even though I like some npcs a lot, I’m not as attached to them as I am with the villagers. I just imagine they have a home either built into the building they work in or they live on a small little neighboring island by themsleves.

I recently created an apartment building that has rooms for Tom, Isabelle, etc. It turned out really cute. I love all the rooms, but the DAL room is my favorite. The Ables sisters in the basement is also a favorite.

Tom owns the apartments, but the character the runs the place is Resetti.

i’ve given this some thought and while it’s a nice idea, i honestly don’t think that i have room for this on my island >_<. but even if i did, i’d definitely prefer to be able to have more than 10 villagers instead of npc homes.
