...decorate and landscape your island?
I rarely visit my island but today I decided to go over and do some landscaping, I plan on making a sitting area with tree stumps and just make the whole place look prettier. The only thing I ever did with the land was get rid of some trees to make the beetle catching easier but now that I don't need the bells or the beetles for my museum I'm focused on making my island look nice.

Funny, I actually will at some point for my island. It's just that I'm still rather busy with my own town first that I completely forgot about my island until now!
Probably it's because that the island is quite out-of-the way from a day-by-day basis that now a lot of folks would think about the island.

I very rarely visit the island (and if I do, it's either for town initiatives or an occasional visit to Club Tortimer), but back when I actually used it for bug hunting, I got rid of everything (the shells, bushes, and trees-- except for palm trees of course) and since the island is virtually useless to me, I don't have plans of landscaping my island. It would just waste my time and money.

Now, if the island was accessible via dreams, I may have done some decorating. I landscaped the beaches in my main town because I wanted my dream to be extremely well laid out.

my island is a complete mess since i use it mainly for beetle hunting. but i've been thinking about trying to clean it up and landscape the grassy part.

it used to just have a bunch of trees in the shape of a heart but i replaced it with bamboo and a few rocks! although i never go there either its fun to decorate

I feel like people would care more about the islands if one could also visit them via dream, it would be nice if they added that and the second floor of the museum for a full town experience.

I probably won't decorate my island since I sometimes might use it for beetle catching, but I usually play with other players when I go to the island. I'm not sure I ever will, but I guess it would be great to decorate it. Basically my island is bare with nothing and 6 palm trees surround it. If I were to decorate it, I would put flowers according to the spectrum, so a bit rainbow, and I'd surround it with trees and bushes.

Like the others, I use mine to beetle hunt and to catch fish that I can't catch year round in my town.

I just leave it as it is. I'll probably decorate it if I could lay some paths and bring some hybrid flowers conveniently. I know there is a way to bring them but I don't have the patience to go back and forth.
