Does anybody listen to asmr?

Sometimes, but I only got 'tingles' just two or three times back in 2012 when I discovered ASMR.
I only like tapping or whispering without mouthsounds.

Saying this feels so weird.

Yeah, sometimes when I'm bored

It's kinda hard to find something that works well for me though ;;

I get bored of them after awhile but they do give me that tingly-scalp feeling which is nice and relaxing

i listen to asmr, mostly to help me fall asleep. not sure if it counts, but I love the sound of distant engine trains. gives me chills on my back lol

I looooooove it!!

I love tapping, crinkles, ear attention, and anything REALLY close to my ears. Like REALLY close. I melt. C:

eugh i can't stand it especially whispering/mouth clicking ones, they do give me the tingling but in a bad way which makes me want to run away from my computer

The feeling you describe sounds a lot like what I'd experience when people would play with my hair in high school (I have long hair) or when I would 'enjoy' the sound of people whispering...it feels a bit weird to talk about, but I'm a bit intrigued that there are trigger videos for it...I may see about it later haha.

Omg same I actually got addicted to tapping random things irl because of asmr and it just makes me feel better

My boyfriend surprised me one day by gathering a bunch of items and tapped on them, crinkled them, etc around my ears while I sat in a chair. It was SO surprising and even if it felt a little silly, it really worked and felt awesome!!

edit: in stores I always play with the packaging of things, especially food and dollar store items. LOTS. OF. PLASTIC.
