Does anyone think wildworld is dead?

kinda like asking if the gamecube version (population: growing?) is dead, yes?

animal crossing by nature never dies. that is, if you ever thought it was really "alive".

I'll probably keep picking it up every now and then, play for a few weeks and forget about it, but I wouldn't really call it alive, in the sense that it's garnering attention from new fans, or wowing anyone with some little secret that we just discovered... that dude liquefy on gamefaqs really covered everything. @_@

I don't think it's completely died off.

I know/have heard of a handful of people that still play it.
...Just not from this forum. :p

I would play if more people here played it online and I had the proper internet to play online

Of course the game is not obsolete, so it is NOT "dead". However, more people go online on City Folk, and Wild World is not a popular DS game anymore (if it ever was...). With Animal Crossing on the 3DS coming soon, I think a lot of people forgot about Wild World. Overall, I think that Wild World is NOT dead.

There is a large community on LJ that I'm a part of that still plays Wild World and many of them don't even own City Folk, or didn't like it and rarely touch it. In the general AC forum communities, yeah, people prefer CF because it's new or because they're younger and it's the first AC game they've played.

I almost never touch CF. I play WW every day and I have for two years. WW isn't dead and I don't know why people always want to talk about if a game is less popular than it was when it first came out because DUH. Can we drop it now? Sheesh.
