Does building more villager vacation homes unlock more items from Wardell?

Do new things appear in his catalogue with each new villager you make a house for? Is there point to keep grinding to unlock more items to order? I’m not sure if my understanding is correct or not

Yes, new items do unlock for new villagers IF they have items that you have not unlocked from previous HHP villagers. Anytime you do a new job, look for items that have a red dot next to them— those are new items that will be unlocked the next time you visit Wardell.

Just remember that after a certain point, new villagers may not have any items that you have not yet discovered, so there are times when you won’t have new catalog items after a job.

Every villager has a specific set of items (furniture and clothes) that you unlock. Refer to this guide if you're looking for a specific item to see which villagers have them:

Note that only furniture can be bought from Wardell's catalog. No clothes sadly.

Also if you look up the item online most of the time it will tell you what villagers give it.
