You only get 0.01% interest, so you'll get 0.3 bells, which doesn't actually show up on your bell count (unless you get another 0.7).

For every 1000 bells you put in, you'll get 1 bell as interest.

Yeah, interest rate is low but like someone said, you'll get 1 bell for 1000 bells
